Family Child Care Contracts and Policies, Third Edition: How to Be Businesslike in a Caring Profession

This book is a necessity for anyone that is starting their own child care business or even someone that is looking to grow their business. Not only does this book have great information and advice on what should be in child care contracts and the policies of a child care business, but it also comes with a cd that has all of the different form already made up for you! All you have to do is edit the forms to fit your unique business and enter your information and you are ready to start getting down to business. This is a book which I would highly recommend and one that I know I will definitely be using myself.

I have been doing childcare for 22 years and I have always typed up my own contracts and policies for my private pay providers and there is so much information in this book that I had to read it twice to make sure that I comprehended it all. It is full of highlighted information that I didn't want to miss. Sadly I have to admit after 22 years I was doing my own contracts and policies all wrong. This is a must have book!! I actually recommend all of Tom Copeland's books!! You can't go wrong!

I absolutely LOVE this book. I had checked it out from the public library a couple of times and used the accompanied cd rom to base my contracts off, as I'm just starting out in the Family Daycare industry. I had to order it because I didn't want to return the book to the library. It has every possibility in it and is so usefull as a reference. I will be using this "go to" for years!! I've even ordered more Family Daycare references from the same publisher.

This book was very helpful for writing my contracts and policies when I started my home daycare. It was full of great ideas and things that I never thought of to include in my contract. I am hopeful that this will prevent any major issues in the future because of this book. I would recommend this to anyone who is starting a home daycare and needs some guidance as to what to include in their policies and contract!

This is another must have book from Tom Copeland JD. I wanted my contract to stand out and to hold up in court. Want to be treated with respect from enrolled parents. Many ideas threw out the book will put your contract to the top. I bought this so I could do exactly that. I feel better handing my contract out now to my daycare parents.

I had so many questions when I decided to get into the Childcare field and this book has already answered so many of them, as well as making me think about things I would have never thought of. Very well written!
