Machining and CNC Technology Paperback – International Edition, January 1, 2018

As for the contents of the book, there’s a lot of good info in it. I use it in my Into to Machining college class that I’m taking. It was a requirement for the class.This paperback book has the same info in the same locations as the more expensive hard cover book. Along the top of the cover, It says that it’s an international version and to be used outside of the US. Everything in the book is written in English.My college bookstore wanted $250 for a new hardcover, and $180 for a used hardcover. This book was cheap enough that I make notes right in the book, highlight important info, and dog-ear pages that I want to refer back to. I won’t try to resell it being that it was inexpensive to begin with and it being a paperback copy. It has a lot of good charts and tables in the appendix to refer back to.

Fantastic print. Super fast delivery with prime. Highly suggest getting this book if it is listed for your post secondary education. Highly HIGHLY suggest getting the paper back variety. Paper-back was a quarter of the price at my time of purchase.

This book is ok. In some ways it's organized, but in others it's not. The same material appears in multiple places. It's sometimes hard to know where to go next on the page because there are too many boxes and sidebars. The examples tend to contain a lot of detail and not be well explained. The diagrams are not always clear and sometimes you can't tell what's what in a photo. The book covers a lot though and I'm glad I read it. The CNC part seems tagged on. Gizelbach is a much better introduction to CNC machining and can be read in 1/10th the time.
