Lightlife Smart Menu Plant-Based Meatballs 8 oz

I've only recently started to buy plant-based products as I changed my lifestyle habits for health reasons - these are convincingly textured compared to ground beef and have a really pleasant roasted flavour to them. I prepared them with a basil, tomato paste, seared peppers and onion sauce, and they retained a soft texture and great taste. The only thing worth noting is a slight graininess compared to having beef-based meatballs, but I find that it's pretty common in this specific category of food.They are delicious, easy and satisfying for their calorie count. I couldn't recommend them more. :)

Since I gave up meat I forgot how much I love the flavor/tecture meatballs add to a pasta dish. NOTE: Do not eat these before cooking! I'm sure it's not bad for you to eat uncooked but they DO NOT taste good. After cooking for about 10min on the stovetop before adding to my dish the texture and flavor improved dramatically.

Terrible to my tastebuds, trust me I am someone who knows how to season my food but not even seasoning could fix this mess. They got the texture down right but this? Tastes nothing like real meatballs.. not even close. Your better off with Gardein their meatballs actually taste a little meaty !

This was my first time making a dish with their meatballs; however, not my first time buying their product. It has always been a table pleaser!

Always a good buy. Gardein is ALWAYS out of stock, but there are other just as yummy brands! This one.
