My wife loves films like this purchased for her as a gift she loves it

I really liked seeing the character of Belinda all grown and strong as a Doctor. Her challenges were many and her faith tested to the core. In this story she comes to Sikeston to help the sick children at an Orphanage as well as other sick townspeople. Her journey is filled with opposition buy a certain very handsome young blacksmith supports her and defends her along the way. Enjoy this story. It is a good one to show what tested faith and eventual prayer and surrender can yield. Sweet love story all around. :)

"Love Takes Wing" is the continuing story of Belinda Davis Simpson, who has become a doctor and is traveling to a small town in Kansas with Annie, her friend that will be with her for only a few weeks. Upon arriving at the town she not only finds superstition against the children at the orphanage thanks to an outbreak of cholera - a "poverty illness" - but she also finds people that can help her through her recent loss and gets more than she originally bargained for.While I tend to like the storyline in the books a little better than the movies, "Love Takes Wing" is a good movie and maintains the historical accuracy of the books while keeping its good characters!

I bought these for my wife for Christmas, she loves them. Need I say more?

Although Belinda became a blonde instead of a redhead this was a really wonderfulmovie. It showed how sometimes even seemingly steadfast Christians can lose theirway when the pain is great. But God is always working to bring them back into the fold. I also really liked Jordan Bridges. He has the greatest eyes. You will love this movie too. I am most anxious to get the next one "Love Finds a Home" as actually Sara Jones and Jordan Bridges are both returning in the continuation. And Patty Duke!!! I also liked the fact that Belinda's family are at least mentioned. They just don't disappear from the face of the earth. I hate that.

This was a great family movie of great expectations and hoping for Janette Oaks to continue on with her fabulous story of Loves Comes Softly series. Can't wait and hoping for another episode.......It all starts with Love Begins...

Love Takes Wing is the latest in the Oke series which are more than "okay". The whole series is one for the entire family to enjoy and appreciate. As much as the books are an 'heirloom' to pass down to generations so are the videos as they bring the stories to life and make Clark and Missy real people to current viewers. I grew up listening to these books (Continued Story Reading as broadcasted by Moody Bible Radio) and enjoy the fact that my children and I share the pleasure of these timeless works together. A must view for all families

Could not play it. I have a multi region DVD Player. Never had any problems with NTSC except with this series. Very disappointing. Too expensive to return from Switzerland.

Absolutely wonderful the love comes softly series. thoroughly enjoyable.An absolute work of art of perfection.
