It exceeded my expectations!
I will try to make a video when I next open up a block of cheese. I saw this demonstrated by the “crazy Russian hacker” and thought it looked like it worked well. I always have trouble cutting nice slices of cheese. The thing looked kind of small and Mickey Mouse but for under $4.00 I thought I would give it a chance. It cuts beautiful large thin slices off of a block of cheese, big enough to cover a sandwich! And at equal thickness. And it is much longer and sturdier than it appeared in the demo. I still have to get the hang of slicing with the thin side but am very happy with my purchase!

Cheese slicing Easy
The idea of cutting cheese takes on a whole new meaning with this slicer.I like a cheese plane, but this comes very close. And It's easier and safer to use and clean. Don't hesitate...buy it now!

Not easy to use.
This does not give one a clean cut. It smashes the cheese and cuts uneven.

Really liked using it buy broke in June 2021
Was so happy at first but it broke in 4 months.

Defective
Wire on the slicer is super loose. Not sure what happened but there is no way to tighten it either. There’s no way with the wire this loose you could possibly slice cheese. I’ll be contacting amazon for a replacement. Hopefully the next one is correct.
