I have made a simple cube to put a electronic tea light inside. You still need to do a few practice runs and be careful when crossing a junction across lines, but the square shapes that I made, were consistent enough to join into a cubic shape. I suggest that any filling of small shapes be done on a smooth mat which I already had. The mat it strong while being flexible enough to peel off the 3D pen designs. The book gives ideas and templates to try out.
