RETURNED. Finding customer service for this product was a joke. I wasn't even sure I was talking to a customer service agent, and not just some guy sitting in his living room.We had it exchanged because it appeared the first one had been damaged internally or was manufactured incorrectly, and was leaking all over my counter top, and the hose would shoot off of the attachment at the sink faucet. The second one, the hose would also shoot off while using it no matter how gently we turned the water on and careful not to turn it on full-blast. We had to hold the tubing in place and fight it from popping off as we used it. After one too many times of my family having a second shower of the day, and my kitchen being hosed down when all we wanted was a drink of water, we returned it for a full refund. We bought a PUR MineralClear faucet attachment and called it a day.

It worked great for the first time. Came back an hour later to get more water and there is barely any water coming out of it and the very little that comes out is cloudy and tastes and smells bad. Also after you turn off the faucet, it keeps dripping for a few minutes before it stops. The faucet attachments are good quality except that instead of the metal pin that switches between regular water and filtered water, it has a plastic switch. Faucet and plastic should not be used in the same sentence.

Been using this a few months now. I switched from distilled to this filter system, and think it was the better choice for health. There can be a bit of a 'taste' to the water sometimes depending on how much it doesn't get flushed out, but nothing major or concerning. I am happy with this purchase, and do recommend it. My 'city' water wasn't too bad, but I definitely didn't like drinking it. This solves that concern.

The splitter it comes with broke after 2 weeks. You'll have to press really hard to split the water flow and even then they both leak at the same time. This is super disappointing because I use the filter still (who wants to drink fluoridated water?) I hope they offer to replace their parts and make a new design in the future, you can see they use a system that when you pull the tab small little metal balls seal the mount and force water into the hose, which then comes out of the spout of the filter. The problem is, that these metal balls will not hold into place (in my case only two weeks!)

The first one we received was horrible, may have been a defective one. Amazon allowed me to return it and replaced with a new one. The new one was different, it had the "BluePure" sticker on the filter and the tab to switch from the faucet to the filter was also different and so much better. I believe they sent us a generic one in the beginning which I would have rated it 0-Stars but this new one actually works and I would give it 5-Stars. I hope it continues to function properly.

So much easier than any of the pitcher filtration systems and the water tastes better. Yes, when you first start using the filter the water is cloudy. This is just all the loose layers of filtration sediment working its way out. After about 10 mins it's good to go. The diverter is ok for the first few months. It is best to upgrade to a turn valve diverter.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  just received mine today, first of all it's leaking water (check video), secondly the water smells like dead fish even though I kept it running for more than 20 minutes, I'll try to give it a second chance over the next couple of days to see if the smell fades away, if it did I'll get a new one instead of the defected leaking one I have which I'm gonna return (let's see how the seller does with the return process) updates to follow...Update(Apr-13-2015): increaed the star rating because the fishy smell faded after a couple hours of usage (as seller advised), seller also asked me to tighten the area that's leaking water, I did but the leak is still there and I can see the minor crack in the plastic that is causing the leak, seller advised that he will send replacement parts, let's see how that goes

I just received this and put it on my sink. I got out my TDS meter and it actually went up after I installed this. What is it filtering exactly? The water tastes fresher but with 13 filters, it should be next to zero I'd think! I'll update more later after a bit of usage.Update... after about a week of usage, I LOVE this thing! I think what happened is that since I had so much crap in my pipes and stuff it took a while to clean everything out. Now my water is crystal clear and tastes great. I used to be a ZeroWater girl but I am now a convert. I love this little machine. Also, it makes clear ice cubes instead of cloudy, which is what I used to have. Also, I switched my dog to using this water and instead of avoiding his water bowl and only demanding ice, he drinks 2 bowls now! (a lot for a little 2 pound boy!) So it went from 3 stars to 5 stars!
