Focus in the Fog: Beams of Light from the Book of Job Paperback – November 22, 2013

This was an excellent read! It was thought provoking and challenged my own assumptions. I love how the author doesn't shy away from the hard questions that we are all thinking. The idea that God's love and truth will pierce through any suffering or "confusing fog" in our lives, leaves me not only inspired but with a new found hope. I definitely give this one 5 stars!

Jeff Valentine isn't afraid to address the tough questions. I finished this book when I was feeling discouraged and when friends were going through the sudden death of an adult child. There are no pat answers in the difficult times we experience in life. This helped me to recognize that during times of questioning and trials I must embrace God and the process, rather than seek immediate answers.

This book brought some much needed focus in the midst of a difficult season. I love the honest thoughts of the author, thoughts I can completely relate to. Thoughts I am currently struggling with. This book raises hard, but good questions and answers them with biblical truths. I highly recommend it.
