Overall, I'm pleased with this clock. This model receives the radio updates readily, better than other radio-controlled clocks I've owned.Radio-controlled clocks always display the exact time, so (in theory) you never have to make adjustments. Thus, they're convenient for anyone who can't take a clock down from the wall to adjust the time, such as when Daylight Savings Time starts or ends.My Mom has trouble seeing, and this is the perfect wall clock for her. At a glance she can know the time, day, date, and room temperature. We've hung it low on the wall to make it easier for her to read it from bed or while in a wheelchair.Setting this clock for your time zone can be a bit tricky, especially if you lack patience, like me. Product update request: it'd be nice to see a label attached to the back containing detailed instructions for selecting the time zone. That way you don't have to find the original set of instructions each time you install fresh batteries.I would like to point out two peculiarities about this and similar clocks, neither of which should be considered a design defect.Peculiarity #1) It's a good idea to install fresh batteries often to ensure the black numbers and letters show up distinctly. While batteries seemingly last a long time in LCD clocks, the display contrast lessens after only a couple of months. Most LCD clocks seem to have this peculiarity.Peculiarity #2) Radio controlled clocks often adjust repeatedly between the old and new time on those days when Daylight Savings Time starts or ends. So, while you may see that the clock has updated to the new time, later on that same day the clock may go back to the old time for a few hours. By the end of the day the time will be correct. However, on two days each year it can be confusing to tell if you're reading the old or new time.As always, thanks for reading my review.

When setting the clock initially by pressing the MODE key for 3 seconds or so, it did not respond for some reason. I had to press the key several times until it finally responded. After that, setting was easy. The wave tower icon appeared next day, and everything is working fine now. (If you live in Hawaii, you'd better check with the company before ordering if this clock has the "Hawaii time zone.") The price is reasonable and we are happy with this clock.

I will admit the directions are not great but once I figured out how to set it, it has been working perfectly. I am in the Eastern Time Zone so I can't comment on whether changing the time zone is an issue or not but I haven't had any issues after setting it a week ago. Can't speak to the battery like either as it's only been a week.12/11/2019 - I have had this device running for 3 1/2 months without changing the batteries and I have had no issues so not sure why people are having issues with batteries not lasting.

You ask the battery life on a pencil what battery you buy always buy the best so the batteries would be good once you buy the other hand is the cats set it and what you do said it it doesn't keep time so the batteries have nothing to do with it because it's what you buy and I buy the best the clock is not worth it they should even have it on the market it's junk enter a rectifier with me would be I need to make you need to find me one that's a better one I'll pay more but I want it to work so I'm not sure what we can do but just send it back cuz if he wants to send me another one in the same thing happened that wouldn't be fair to thinking we just rectified the problem

It arrived quickly and was easy to set up. The numbers are large and easy to read. It is best to put it in a well lit place. The display is low contrast with black lettering on a gray background. Would have liked more contrast, but I am still very happy. Thanks ps: I couldn't really rate battery life or durability. I have only had it for a month.

Very nice clock and the text is easy to read from several feet away. I don’t know what the battery life will be, since I have only owned it a couple weeks. It self-set very quickly.

This clock is amazing telling you everything you need to know BUT, it is very hard to read. The lighting is too dim. Can hardly be read in dim light or at night. Display would be much better if it was red.

Bought this for my dad, large numbers, easy to use and read. Love a clock you don't have to reset. Not sure on battery life yet. So far good.
