Durable extension
I was struggling with my shower head being too low for a few months at my new apartment. I found this solution and have been nothing but pleased with it's durability a few years into having it. I bought one for my roommate too since he's 6'3 and was over having to duck under his shower head since it was so low. HIGHLY recommend

Love it!
Very easy to install & fully adjustable. Much better than a previous shower extension arm I purchased from another supplier.

Well designed product.
I purchased and installed one of these not long ago and am 'so' grateful for it. Long story short, we had a walk in tub installed a while back. When they installed the tub, I asked the installer's to install our old shower head and facet on the other side as well. (They had to put all the plumbing on the opposite wall from where it normally was.) The thing is, they didn't "center" the shower head to the tub. For 'their' convenience, they installed it along the tile grout line, so they didn't have to mess with trying to drill 'holes' in the tile. So the shower head is a little too close to the inside wall, and because of the 'bulk' of the facets for the tub being mounted on the edge of the tub, instead of in the wall, the short, standard pipe for the shower head had me standing on the drains for the tub. (I was afraid of damaging them if I was kicking them around or something.)(I couldn't complain about the install, because Medicaid and Medicare were paying for it, for my wife.)This extension was exactly what I needed. I can raise the shower head a little higher, so I can aim it a little differently, and it also extends it far enough from the wall, that I'm no longer trying to dance around the drains. (Trust me, you don't want to screw up the drain on a walk-in tub.)The one thing that had me worried, was the stability of the swivel points on the arms. I was concerned they might be a point of failure for leaks. Or maybe they wouldn't hold up and start slipping. But, they seem very solid and reliable. Time will tell, but I like that their made out of the same quality materials the rest of it is. I was afraid they might've used plastic or something for the tightening knobs or something. But, it's all solid metal.I would like to mention...In other reviews, I read some complaints about these things leaking when they install them. And, I have to admit, I had a bit of a problem with that myself. I thought it might be because of the plumbers tape being insufficient or something like that. But, after taking it apart to see what was wrong, I found that what the 'real' problem was, is that, I had "Over" tightened it.The secret is... only tighten it by hand, then turn no more than 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn more with a wrench. In other words "be CAREFUL not to OVER tighten". The rubber gaskets in the heads will squeeze out of place, or even tear if you over tighten them.If you have a strong grip and powerful arms, you may not even have to apply a wrench. I didn't realize I still had as much of my old strength. So, I was able to get it to work, just by 'hand' tightening it. (Of course, I was an automotive mechanic, so I had a pretty stronger grip at one time. I've always had to be careful about over tightening things.)So, to those that have been having leaking problems, check the caskets. If you over tightened them and they've been torn, replace them. Once you've replaced them, be careful not to 'over tighten'.All in all, if you need, or could use the potential benefits of something like this, I HIGHLY recommend this one!

Quality seems good, but install required excess tightening and has some very slight movement
This definitely seems to be solid quality, and the free-spinning nut is critical, which is why I was surprised by how many extension arms *don't* have that. I just installed it today, so time will tell if it holds up, both in durability and in actually holding the shower head up, and I'll try to come back and update if anything changes. The reason for losing a star is due to movement. For starters, there are some reviews about how it rotates once installed, but as the manufacturer has pointed out, there's a solution to that. I'm not sure if that solution was created after those reviews or if those reviewers just didn't bother to read the directions, but there's an included adapter that's used to fix the problem. At first I was bewildered by the inclusion of an "adapter" that simply takes a 1/2" input connection and about an inch later outputs a 1/2" connection, as that seemed rather redundant to me. But it looks like it works because the arm's input connection may be too deep to allow it to fully seat on the shower pipe, preventing it from being as tight as it needs to be, whereas the adapter has a more shallow input. Pretty simple and ingenious fix. The problem I had was that even after using it, I was still getting some rotation, though not nearly as much as shown in the video review(s), despite hand-tightening it as much as I could. The instructions (rightfully so, as you don't want to damage anything) state for both ends to be hand-tightened (and it's underlined to stress the point), yet I HAD to tighten it with pliers to get it to stop rotating. So that's the first ding against this. Not huge, but a ding, nonetheless. The second issue is that when I put the shower head in its holder, the arm moved down a bit (just a hair, but enough to notice), despite being tightened down pretty well. I tightened it more, so hopefully that's enough, but it shouldn't need to be torqued down to keep it in place. Granted, I have a fair amount of weight on it, but still. Assuming it doesn't move any more when really tightened down, I'd give it 4.5 stars. If it does well and I don't experience any other issues, I may come back and bump it up to 5, since the install issue on its own isn't worth taking away a star, but I still don't like how tight the knobs have to be turned to prevent movement, so maybe I'll leave it at 4 stars. By no means does that indicate it's anything other than a great product, just that it's not excellent. I would still absolutely recommend it at this point. Though I do wish it were shorter, since I don't need this much length. So if the manufacturer reads this, please consider making various lengths. The other items I bought and installed with this, which you can see in the pictures, are the HammerHead all metal shower head and a YOO.MEE brass ball valve shut-off. Both of those also seem to be great quality as well. As you can see in the photos, I didn't plan for the extension causing the hose to hang down in the middle of the shower, so I've draped it over the arm to keep it out of the way. Doing that works fairly well, but not great and I'll probably devise something else at some point. The teflon tape I used is Mill-Rose 70885 Blue Monster PTFE 1/2" tape. 1/4" tape, if there is such a thing, would be better because you could control how much is left showing after, but you can also simply cut off the excess with a knife, which I did on some, but not all, of the connections.

Great quality and Good delivery
Perfect for my shower as the showerhead was too tall this made it so it could be lower down to my height. Amazing

Comes with everything you need to install!
These shower arms (I bought two...) arrive with everything you need to install in a little plastic bag: two washers and a roll of thread tape! Many people will be able to mount these without tools, although a pipe wrench will make it easier. They lock in place strongly enough to hold a heavy shower head. But what delighted me was the washers and thread tape: they are mentioned in the description but I missed it -- I was really pleased to get those because obtaining them elsewhere in the middle of a COVID lockdown would have been difficult.

Easy to use
Our master bedroom ensuite glassed in shower is a tight space and when we moved in we realized that when you turned it on the showerhead was aimed straight at the glass entry door and thus when turned on the spray went straight out the door. We knew we needed to install a rain shower head. This arm allowed us to position a rain showerhead directly above you and be easily adjusted to suit the size of our shower. It took less than 10 minutes to install and works perfectly.
