Formatt Hitech 52mm Front Screw Adapter for Modular 67mm Holder

I'll start off by saying I normally like Hitech as a firm and the filters they do (from the introduction of IRND anyway) are excellent. I like the idea of buying British. However, I have a few gripes about this holder.When you take it out the box it instantly becomes apparent that this is just extortionately expensive Meccano. I understand that these things won't have a massive market but even still, come on! Consider this and one of their wide angle adapters in your other hand and I'd defy you to not feel more than a bit had for the coin you forked out. Take a punt on the far-east markets on that auction site for these items if you really think you'll never need the CPL and it's adapter. Mind you, if you can afford that then money is no object anyway!This was the second one of these I ordered (the first that came was the old plastic style so was returned) but none of the two came with the spare components the instruction booklet says it should. Not a deal breaker but still a bit miffed after dealing with the first point. There doesn't seem to be a way to ask for the spares without returning the whole thing again.The last issue I have is the retaining screw to keep this in place. This is a single contact point on a flush sided adapter ring. It just doesn't give me the confidence to just pick up the kit with the holder in place, throw the tripod over my shoulder and tramp off elsewhere knowing It wont drop off. I suppose only further use will give me this. or until it does fall off and I lose it. The design on the old plastic one they sent actually looked better.As for sticking a filter in, it does hold them well but there's not much to go wrong there really.2 stars from me I'm afraid due to the fact I can accept I have to pay top dollar for the technology that goes into making, researching and improving the filters in a niche market without the same company ripping me off for the dumb metal to hold them in place.

Purchased for my Fuji X Pro 1 as an alternative to the Lee System,really impressed,does exactly what the Lee one does at a much lower price and with a better securing system for the ring in my opinion. Ideal for CSC cameras and travelling,got some use out of it on a trip to Egypt recently. Spot on.

Got home to find out that I paid the full price for a 2nd hand product.Box was poorly kept, completly ripped and battered and the holder has seen better days, is full of scratches and a few dents.I'm disappointed. I am flying to Portugal tomorrow, but returning this as soon as I'm back and buying a Lee instead.

In diesem Preissegment gibt es wohl kaum einen vergleichbaren Halter. Auf einer Messe konnte ich den Cokin Z pro testen. Im Kit zwar günstiger (Bis man bei Formatt ein Kit zusammen hat sind es gute 180.-Euro.) dafür sprach mich die Qualität überhaupt nicht an. Der Cokin war komplett aus Plastik gefertigt, hingegen der Formatt aus hochwertigem Aluminium hergestellt wird. Der Korpus besteht aus einem Stück. Was ich hier auch positiv finde ist das der Halter mittels einer kleinen Schraube richtig fest am Objektivhalter befestigt wird. So wird verhindert das man den Halter aus versehen verlieren kann (z.B beim tragen der Cam auf Stativ über der Schulter). Der Cokin wird bloß aufgesteckt und am Lee ist es ein Druckknopf der betätigt wird. Das festziehen der Schraube gibt mir größeres Vertrauen.Bei Nutzung einer Vollformatkamera in Verbindung mit UWW Objektiven unbedingt den 100mm Halter kaufen.

Bei den Formatt Hitech Adapterringen scheint es doch gewisse Toleranzen bei den Gewinden zu geben. Erst habe ich einen Adapterring 37 mm für den Modularhalter mit 67 mm gekauft. Dieser besaß einen Gewindedurchmesser von sagenhaften 35,85 mm, also 1,15 mm zu klein. Da hat der Hersteller wohl M36er Gewinde produziert, und vermutlich die Adapterringe mit 37 mm falsch beschriftet. Ein Ersatz über einen Onlineshop außerhalb Amazons, mit einem Außengewindedurchmesser von 36,85 mm passte sehr gut, etwas Spiel kann ich akzeptieren.Der nun bestellte Ring mit 52 mm hatte einen Durchmesser von 51,7 mm und besaß wirklich sehr viel Spiel. Dieser ging zurück und wurde erneut geliefert. Der Neue hat einen Durchmesser von 51,8 mm und ist gerade noch verwendbar. Ich kenne die verwendete Toleranzklasse nicht, aber selbst ein metrisches Standartgewinde ist präziser gefertigt als dieses Feingewinde.Aufgefallen ist mir noch, daß manche Adapterringe von Formatt eine gedrehte Oberfläche, andere noch eine sandgestrahlte Oberfläche besitzen.Die Verarbeitungsqualität und Haptik wirkt zwar ganz ordentlich, aber die Toleranzen bei den Gewinden sind nicht hinnehmbar.Vielleicht hatte der Fertigungsmitarbeiter an der CNC-Drehmaschine auch nur einen schlechten Tag.Die Ringe sind natürlich nicht aus Kunststoff, wie in der Artikelbeschreibung angegeben, sondern aus Aluminium.Der Modularhalter selbst ist ordentlich verarbeitet, aber die Filterscheiben lassen sich sehr streng hin durchschieben.Der Amazonservice selbst war wie üblich vorbildlich.

Nachdem ich den Filterhalter u.a. in zwei Urlauben testen konnte, habe ich einen ersten Eindruck. Der Filterhalter wird mit einer kleinen Feststellschraube auf dem Adapterring am Objektiv festgeklemmt. Wird diese Schraube gelöst, kann der Halter beliebig gedreht und auch angenommen werden. Wie auch schon in einer anderen Rezension beschrieben besteht somit leider auch die Gefahr, dass der Halter samt Filtern zu Boden fällt.Ein weiterer negativer Punkt ist die Aufnahme der Filter selber. Der erste, direkt am Halter eingeschobene Filter liegt mit einer Seite direkt am Aluminium des Halter an. Ist zwischen Halter und Filter (egal ob Glas oder Kunststoff) Sand o.ä. können auf dem Filter Kratzer entstehen. Das hätte schöner gelöst werden können. So werden zwar Lichtlecks vermieden, diese könnten aber mit schmalen Schaumstoffklebestreifen eliminiert werden.

El material es resistente y a prueba de inclemencias climáticas de todo tipo. Le me he metido bastante uso y está como nuevo. Los filtros de su marca se deslizan muy bien y se aguantan correctamente. El único pero es que los tornillos de los soportes se van desenroscando con el tiempo y hay que estar pendiente de ir enroscandolos para no perderlos. Independientemente de ello, no es un motivo para dudar de la compra. Yo, al menos, estoy muy contento con la adquisición.

Valida alternativa al ben più costoso sistema Lee. Preferito al sistema Cokin perchè il porta filtri viene applicato frontalmente senza nessun sforzo mentre quello Cokin va infilato dall'alto con un certo sforzo e lo trovo scomodo soprattutto quando al macchina è su cavalletto.Possibilità di inserire da 1 a 3 filtri. Nel pacchetto sono comprese le viti per le varie "configurazioni"; da più corte per la configurazione con solo uno slot a quelle lunghissime per applicare 3 filtri in modo che la vite non entri nell'inquadratura nel caso in cui vengano utilizzati grandangoli estremi ed è possibile utilizzare solo 1 max 2 filtri.Il materiale sembra resistente e solido anche se lo strato esterno si riga abbastanza facilmente

En cuanto al pedido vino correctamente embalado y en el plazo de entrega. En cuanto al portafiltros creo q esta muy bien para su precio ,el problema que comentan de los tornillos por diez o quince centimos te compras unos mas cortos o los cortas y arreglado . Si que es cierto que el sistema de Lee es mejor por el modo de sujeción y por poder poner por delante un filtro circular o la tapa del objetivo ,ahora bien,¿estas dispuesto a pagar prácticamente el doble por el Lee ?Con una full frame a 24 mm viñetea un poco pero eso va a suceder con cualquier portafiltros de este tamaño, con tirar a 26 mm arregladoEncuanto a la sujeción de los filtros lo he probado con un Haida nd y eso es imposible que se caigaResumiendo calidad precio perfecto

Articolo arrivato puntuale, imballaggio ok, ma purtroppo nella parte frontale deve vengono inseriti i filtri si trovava una scanalatura di circa 1,5mm e non permette il regolare funzionamento dei filtri ND. Entra la luce persino con la guarnizione, e per chi conosce i filtri sa bene che durante le lunghe esposizioni una piccola infiltrazione di luce rende inutilizzabile lo scatto. Naturalmente è un errore di fabbrica che purtroppo si è verifica due volto, ho riconsegnato l'articolo e fatto spedire nuovamente ma con lo stesso difetto, naturalmente Amazon non centra nulla, impeccabile come sempre mi ha risolto varie rogne anche in passato e per questo merita cinque stelle.. Comunque mi aspettavo maggior professionalità e accuratezza da parte dell' Hitech. Comunque con 20€ in più ho acquistato l' holder e anello adattatore 67mm della LEE, di gran lunga superiore a gli Hitech.

Buena relación calidad precio. El acabado es correcto y de buena calidad. Lleva tornillos para sujetarse bien al adaptador de rosca que va al objetivo. En el frontal del porta filtros hay cuatro tornillos, uno en cada esquina para facilitar con seguridad la sujección de los filtros. Estos permiten al aflojarlos un buen deslizamiento de los filtros para encontrar la medida acorde a las necesidades de la toma. Una vez que se ha fijado la posición, los tornillos se aprietan un poco para que queden bien sujetos y no se caigan.Para mis necesidades una buena compra para el largo plazo.

Solide, tient bien les filtres (basé sur mon achat de filtres de la même marque, je n'ai pas pu juger sur d'autres marques mais à voir le système je pense qu'il n'y a aucun problème) n'oubliez pas d'acheter un bague adapter au plus gros Ø de vos objectifs et des bagues réductrices pour pouvoir les monter sur vos objectifs de Ø inférieurs (ex si vous avez 3 objectifs un 50 mm, un 58 mm et un 77 mm : prenez la bague adaptatrice de filtres de 85 mm vers 77 mm et acheter les bagues réductrices de 77 mm vers 58 mm et 77 mm vers 50 mm car les bagues adaptatrices valent une douzaine d'€ chacune alors de les bagues réductrices valent 3 € pièces et ces dernières vous serviront pour tous les accessoires à visser que vous pourrez acheter par la suite, même vos capuchons protege-objectifs auront un Ø unique de 77 mm)Pour les filtres gradués prendre des rectangulaires 85 mm x 110 mm (ça permet de jouer d'avantage sur la hauteur) et pour les longues expos prenez les carrésJ'ai acheté les filtres : Formatt Hitech Kit filtre Densité neutre Bord doux Dégradé 85 x 110 mm et : Formatt Hitech Filtre longue exposition 3.0 10 Stops Prostop 85 x 85 mm

Il prodotto è giunto con qualche segno di usura ma niente che ne impedisca il corretto e funzionale utilizzo in quanto il lato estetico conta ma fino a un certo punto.Apprezzata la solidità notevole del prodotto, se venisse fornita anche una bustina da poter riporre il portafiltri sarebbe il top.In ultimo attenzione ai dadi, se lasciate l'adattatore in una tasca dello zaino mi è capitato di dover raccogliere una dado in fondo allo zaino. Se lo perdete e non avete dietro il kit di viti e dadi di ricambio che viene fornito con il portafiltri...potrebbe essere scomodo l'utilizzo del prodotto.

Ich hab mir den Modulhalter mit 67mm Adapterring bestellt für meine D7000 mit 18-105mm Objektiv.Die Grundplatte des Halters ist aus Metall und sehr stabil. Die Filter werden an Kunststoffführungen eingeschoben. Die Kunststoffführungen werden über 4 Schrauben befestigt. Es können bis zu 3 Filter befestigt werden.Der Adapterring wird am Objektiv festgeschraubt und über eine Stellschraube mit dem Filterhalter fixiert.Ich benutze nur zwei Kunststoffführungen und den Montagering für den Polarisationsfilter. Dabei benutze ich hauptsächlich einen Graufilter (bis ND3.0) und einen Grauverlaufsfilter (NDS/H bis 0.9).In dieser Konstellation sieht man bis zu einer Brennweite von ca. 25 mm die Ränder des Polfilters. Das ist für mich vertretbar.Kritik:Die Verarbeitung der Kunststoffführungen könnte besser sein. Eine seht ein bischen weiter ab (vllt. 0,5mm). Funktional und optisch hat das keine Auswirkung. Fällt nur beim zusammenbauen auf.Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, das ich mit dem System zufrieden bin. Auch den Polfilter, die Grauverlaufsfilter und auch den PRO STOP IRND ND3.0 von Formatt Hitech kann ich empfehlen.

Bastante decepcionado con como me ha llegado el paquete: la caja del producto totalmente aplastada, abierta por todos los laterales y la bolsa agujereada por los mismo tornillos de la presión de la misma caja. Imposible saber si el producto es nuevo o ya está usado. Lo pero, es que realicé la compra junto con un filtro de la misma marca el cual es muy delicada para el trato que ha recibido. Todavía no lo he probado pero de momento, el producto no es de mi agrado.Un saludo.

Muy buen acabado, tacto, peso, y manejabilidad. Entre 1 y 3 filtro puede soportar, y girar bloquear con el pequeño tornillo dorado del marco. Se adapta bien a los anillos 'universales' que se usan para otras cosas como flashes anulares. Quizas se echa en falta algun tipo de 'parasol', para evitar luces parasitas laterales, aunque cuando tienes un solo filtro puesto, es dificil que entre. Muy satisfecho con la compra, nada que ver con los típicos soportes de filtros de plástico baratuchos.

Me gusta el acabado que tiene, pero considero un problema el tornillo fijador de la arandela, si necesitas rotar el portafiltros debes de tener cuidado o el portafiltros se puede ir al suelo. El sistema de sujección mucho mejor en Lee

Buena calidad de construcción pero el diseño es mejorable. El primer filtro apoya directamente sobre la base, sin ninguna guía, por lo que solo se puede usar para filtros ND con espuma, aflojando los tornillos antes de colocar el filtro y apretando después. Los tornillos largos sobresalen mucho a no ser que tengas puesto el adaptador para filtro polarizador (no incluido) y los cortos solo sirven si utilizas el portafiltros con una única guía, algo poco probable. La calidad de construcción buena, de lo mejor del mercado.El embalaje por parte de Amazon penoso, la caja llego aplastada y abierta, por suerte el producto no sufrió daños.
