Easy to install.
The control box seems to be made very well. Mine was a little harder to install because it had the trim and tilt button in the handle. I had a small issue and contacted the company. They were very helpful and were concerned that I resolve my issue. Great control box, especially for the money!

Don't expect long life from this product, buy warranty if available.
Fragile Tilt/Trim toggle button assembly! This throttle control (Mophorn Boat Throttle Control 881170A15) is for my outboard motor. I've had this a little over a year and a half. Obviously being a seasonal item, only used a few times. Also the boat has always been covered when not used, so the Throttle Control unit is not weathered and still looks like new. I went to uncover my boat for use, and found the Motor Tilt/Trim "Button" popped off, broken and on the deck. You can see in the pictures a Very Small, hollow, plastic molded section in the middle that just out of the blue decided to snap off."I would love to contact Mophorn customer service to see if they can help" send me - or even sell me - a replacement Tilt/Trim Button assembly. Or even if needed, a complete Remote Control Lever with Tilt/Trim Switch. Unfortunately, I have not seen how I can contact Mophorn to resolve. Unfortunately I may have to buy a whole new Throttle Control Unit with cables, which is not cheap. Unfortunately, the manufacture of the Tilt/Trim Switch Assembly is cheap, which is causing this painful and costly lesson. "Please contact me Mophorn".

Broke on install
The unit installed easy and it fits everything on the motor. The issue is that it uses super cheap components. As soon as I pulled up on the red part of the handle that disengaged the handle tonput it in gear, it broke in 2. I had to take the old one out of the old unit to get it to work which requires dissassembling the entire unit. Its not an OEM Mercury unit so I was expecting some form of cheaper components, but this is one of the most important parts of the unit. If this would have happened while away from home, I would have been dead in the water. Better quality control by the company is in order.

No wiring diagram
Handle was lose. Wiring was very difficult to figure out. Very difficult to install without wiring diagram. Installed on 95-205 Skeeter boat.
