Loved it!
I took these on my 4 day backpacking trip on the AT. These were tasty and filling. I had the scrambled eggs and sausage in the morning and then for dinner beef tacos, chicken and broccoli and buffalo chicken ranch. All were delicious and very satisfying. Great flavors not too salty like other brands. I felt it also had excellent portions none left over like some others. I followed the directions and it wasn't too watery and reconstituted perfectly.

low carb great taste
I bought these when I was doing a low carb diet and wanted to do an overnight camping trip. I was happy to find a low carb option that fit into the Keto diet. I have to say these taste pretty good. I haven't tried all the flavors yet but what I have had has been tasty. The only down side is they are a bit pricey.

Yummy Trail Food.
Just hiked the JMT and these meals were the star in the food category. I could not wait til dinner time to crack one open and enjoy. I have tried all the other brands and there is no competition, these are the best. A bit pricy, but in my opinion well worthy the extra cost.

Outstanding
After eating hiking meals with cheap fillers, sugar and carbs, these meals are truly amazing. Simple real food ingredients, well seasoned, and delicious. Loved the chicken curry. Will be ordering more.

Inedible and sodium filled.
If I could have given "zero" ratings I would have. They are with the exception of the Coconut Chicken Curry, 540mg, FULL of sodium. Per the packages, Cajun Style Jambalaya, 2020mg, Chicken Broccoli Casserole, 1010mg, Italian Style Beef Marinara, 1490mg, Sausage Scramble, 1240mg, Beef Tacos, 1890 mg...and you taste every milligram. Sodium is so strong that any "food" taste is lost in the background. I made everyone of the packets, tasted them, and immediately fed them to the dispose all. The price, here, is $17.66 PER PACKET(!!!), you'd have to be crazy.

Keep walking the extra mile
Would walk the next mile in order to not eat this. Somehow the chicken curry was soupy and crunchy in all the wrong ways. The Italian meatball was ok.

Soylent Green anyone?
I just can't understand why there are so many positive reviews. I found the flavors in the sauces pretty good, but the texture was awful. The chicken and beef are probably closer to Soylent Green in taste and texture, and appear to be the same substance. I found all the meals to be nearly impossible to rehydrate fully, even at sea level, without heating it old school in a pot on simmer.

Simply the Best
If you’re a low carb person, these are the best out there. I have tried most of the other options (Non-Keto too) and the Next Mile meals are my favorite. I think they have the best flavor out any I have eaten. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
