Happy, worked.
Works well, material is durable enough. Not sure how many flights it would last but did well on first flight, an I know the baggage handlers at South Africa are rough.Big enough and colourful.Only issues, probably all bags, it that the straps cut into your shoulders.

Get this!
Get this! If you need to check a bag of car seats, we fit a large toddler car seat AND a booster seat with room left over. I probably could have fit in several packs of diapers and half a dozen beach towels too! The bag is very sturdy and has a carrying handle, but also backpack straps. So awesome for arriving/leaving the airport when you're also pushing a stroller or pulling a suitcase and chasing kids. When you cinch up the bag, you'll have a lot of left over string. Just tuck it down inside the opening. The backpack straps can also be cinched up when you check the bag so they don't get caught on anything. Don't forget...most airlines check car seats for free and they do not count toward your total of checked bags.

Durable, well made, and easy to find **Update June 2019
** Update, June 2019 - Since I wrote this original review a year ago, we've been on 5 more flights (14 legs total including layovers) and the bag has survived them all, and protected the car seat from scratches and damages. There's been a lot more scuff marks on the canvas, so who knows what the baggage handlers are doing, but the bag material has held up well and kept the car seat in one piece. I'm pretty impressed at the bag's durability. We've also used it during various other road trips as a bag to hold pillows, sleeping bags and blankets, and any other large random amorphous items that we need to bring, and it has been great for that as well. It is definitely starting to show signs of wear, but the material is still together. Quite happy so far! **Pros:1. Large enough bag to fit your carseat, but not so overly large that you worry about the extra material bunching up and getting the whole thing stuck someplace in the void between the airplane and the baggage claim2. Nice bright color (we bought the bluish one) so that there's no question it's your car seat.3. Durable material, so far has lasted 4 flights without a rip or tearCons:1. A bit pricy, but worth it since it's proven to be durable2. Stuffing the bag back inside the included carrybag can be challengingSummaryWe started using car seat bags when one of our carseats showed up on the baggage claim with part of the seat cushion and cover missing, rendering it worthless. We complained to the airline but they simply just shrugged their shoulders. So now, we use a carseat travel bag. This bag easily fits a Britax carseat without any problems, and there's room to sneak in a few things if you need to. As others have mentioned, it's a good idea to tie the draw string into a knot so that it doesn't come undone during the handling phase. So far, this bag has survived 4 flights without being torn apart. I can tell there has been abuse by the stains on it, but it has held up to whatever the baggage handlers do to carseats. We've either gotten lucky, or the bag material is more durable than it appears. It is made of tightly woven heavy duty polyester canvas-like material, and the fabric has a good weight to it.I haven't used the backpack straps to lug this through the airport, mainly because the Britax car seat that we put in it weighs about a million pounds. So I've contemplated cutting them off in case they might get snagged during the transport phase between the airplane and the baggage claim, but so far it hasn't been an issue. The straps are able to be snugged up right up against the bag.I'd definitely buy another one if the one we have ultimately rips apart due to baggage handling issues... which is inevitably going to happen at some point.

Huge bag as well as sturdy/thick
I love how big this bag is. (Pictured) I easily fit my Diono Radian (folded), as well as TWO evenflow backless booster seats. The bag is thick and ,so far, seems really sturdy. While I imagine it is unrealistic to carry it this fully loaded using the backpack straps, I'm sure with one seat it would be fine. Will update after our flights if any change but, for the first time in 9 years, I have zero concerns about our seats this trip.EDIT/UPDATE: after multiple flights this summer, with one 5 point and 2 backless boosters all packed inside together, this bag is still just as sturdy as when we pulled it out of the package. Highly recommend.

Did the job we got it for.
We needed a backpack style bag so my hubby could easily carry our daughter's car seat through the airport along with wheeling our carry-ons and this did it's job. We didn't use it to gate check, so I can't speak for that, but it got a forever carseat through the airport and onto the plane where we took it out, used it in the plane seat, and then put it back in the bag and lugged it through the airport all the way to the rental car. Then repeated for the return home. Didn't rip or show signs of wear, so we're happy. Minus one star because it wasn't the easiest to get and keep closed at the top.

Seems like a good sturdy bag
We’ve used in on one trip already. Seems like a good sturdy bag. We ended up double bagging the car seat and putting this one inside another bag because we were worried the back pack straps would get caught or snag on something when we checked it. Also, the drawstrings on the top that close the bag are very lose, they can come open very easily. So make sure you knot it or else your bag will come open.
