Not compatible with HTC mic - maybe
Headset with mic for phone....adapter allows receiving voice, but the mic will not work on my HTC U11 phone, even though description says it will. Also, looks to me as if all the white adapters in the line-up are the same unit with different names. Not sure.Update: I changed from one star to three.....because I ordered another adapter...different brand...and found the same thing.! So, I changed headsets...and that second unit works with a different headset. So...I suppose the first adapter, the one I am writing this review for, may have worked with the second headset, also Lesson learned: Try a second headset. PS: The quality of the sound, especially of your voice being heard by the other person on the phone, may be a bit distorted....these little adapters have to convert between digital and analog.....pretty amazing....but also may be distorted.

Easy to use
I needed a converter for a credit card reader that works via a microphone jack. I often do vendor events and crazy fairs, so accepting credit cards is important. This adapter allows me to do that with no issues. I can also use it to connect wired headphones when my Bluetooth ones are charging. Great product.

Didn't Work
Never worked. I have a Pixel 3 and plugging in headphones or an aux cable resulted in zero sound.

Not for Note 10 phones
I ordered these to use on a Note 10 Samsung phone. I can hear perfectly, very clear. However they do not work for speaking. I was hoping to keep my favorite earphones by using this connector. It's only for listening tho.

2 out of 4 Worked for 5 months now a dud
Purchased 4, so far 2 have stopped working since May, not a bad ratio but definitely not a superb product, would've liked to have been able to get a exchange or credit, but no option since out of the return window. Bummer

Not really worth it.
Got on Sunday and by Tuesday it started going on the fritz. I only use my headphones for an hour a day then put away in their case. This little piece has to be put in a certain way (even though there's no wrong way on my phone), and you can NOT let it bend. If it's even slightly bent you'll hear static or it'll stop working.
