Levi'sWomen's Classic Bootcut Jeans (Plus Size)

Levi's has discontinued the 525 and 580 in the past couple of years, which leaves the plus size lady with only these and one other (slimmer) style to choose from. What a horrible decision on Levi's part.The 415, while supposed to be relaxed fitting, were skin tight from hip to knee in the same size that is sagging from my hips in the other fits. The only place it was relaxed was in the waist, where there was enough room to house a small family of kangaroos. Sent them back immediately and I'm moving on to other brands.

I bought a pair of this exact style number at the exchange on my overseas base (only one pair left in the size I wanted) one size larger than what I ordered here. Those jeans are slightly too big (especially in the waist) and made of some quite stretchy fabric. I thought I'd go online and order two more pair but one size smaller to fit a bit better. What I received are so small that I can't get them up my legs. The fabric is not very stretchy at all. The only difference (besides being one size smaller) is that they are a different (darker) color than the pair I bought at the local store.God, buying jeans is frustrating. I think I'm going to switch to skirts and call it good.Levis, if you're paying attention, PLEASE make the jeans in a style number family out of standardized patterns and fabrics.

As many of you know, finding a good pair of jeans is a trial and error type of activity so buying them online (sight unseen) seems the height of insanity. This isn't the first time I have been called insane but at least this time I am looking mighty fine in my new jeans! Very flattering cut and nice thickness. I normally wear an 18 but in these jeans the 18 were almost obsence tight (I will save those for date nights 😉). I ordered a second pair in 20 and am quite happy with them for everyday use.

I ordered a size up from my normal pant size and they started out being too tight they fit ok but they are stretching out as the day goes buy. The legs fit ok but the waist keep sliding down and I have to pull it up and I don't like belts so this will be an on going issue. I like the color and the quality so I will purchase another style to see if I find a fit that's right for me.

The fit okay bit the length is two inches too short. I’m 5’7” so normal length is just perfect or sometimes a 1/2” too long. These are not marked as short or petite. Fabric is good quality though. Not a fan of the Lowe waist and it’s even worse since hey are short, I can’t oull hem up all he way so always feel like I’m going to lose them walking.

I really like these jeans and have several pairs of them. They are comfortable and fit me perfectly. I used to wear 580s and was disappointed when they discontinued them, but these are a great substitute. They have a little stretch to them so I ordered a size up because I don’t like my jeans to look painted on. They don’t stretch out by the end of the day and get baggy, but after a few weeks the stretch does relax a bit. They keep their color well. Love them!

I do Love levis jeans....Unfortunately they fit (size wise) about the same as my 529 curvy boot cut 16's ( which defeats the purpose of going up a size) ...I got these thinking I'd have a bit more breathing room then there actually was....the 415's also taper a little in the knees which is a little annoying...That is not flattering on a plus person like myself...but it's not as bad as others so I am willing to over look this since they are very comfortable ...hope this helps other when choosing sizes 😁

I used the Levi’s size chart to determine my size and the chart was accurate for this style.I like the way these pants fit, the dark rinse, and the amount of stretch. I hate the depth of the pockets. Pictured is the full depth, not even deep enough to hold a pen.I am keeping the jeans because of the fit and modifying the pockets accommodate ALL of my hand and not just the first two knuckles.
