Easy Origami

Great book. The instructions are very easy to follow. I found a pattern for a vase that I had been looking for and was very pleased with the instructions. There were beginners patterns and also more advanced ones.

I was expecting many creative things to make, but it's just an origami book. Nothing special. Some Instruction are not clear for little kids

Our children (ages 6 and under) are homeschooled, and we checked this book out from the juvenile section of our library for our study on Japan. We loved it so much that we are planning to buy it very soon from Amazon.com (with our next order). I love the way it explains how to make things. There is a very good explanation (with both drawings and pictures) at the beginning of the book showing how to make all the various basic folds you need to know, as well as the meaning of symbols used throughout the book. Then there are pages of things you can make, and they are divided by difficulty level -- very easy, easy or more challenging. Now, my girls are young and might not have the patience to do much origami yet, but it would be a great book if they were just a bit older. They loved the tree, butterfly and airplanes I made them though. I plan to buy this book and add it to our personal home library, so we can use it more often. You can use the "search inside" feature to see examples of the pages in this book. We loved this book and we hope you will enjoy this book also.

I got this for my 21 year old nephew and I to play with. We had a miserable time. The diagrams are incomplete and the directions are sparse. I've taught origami to my 7th grade students and had no troubles, but this is not the book for you.

I needed to do some origami for a craft project with kids. I found the instructions in this book the easiest to understand and get started with quickly (from looking at several books). Lots of fun items to make. Highly recommended. (In fact, this might be my first amazon review ... I am so grateful for this help from this book that I wanted to recommend it.)

I thought the directions were not very clear. Not many fun projects. Also you better have A4 paper on hand which is not practical for those of us the USA.

Some instructions can be a bit confusing for me , but son loves it , only neen here hakf an hour and made a fish and airplane already

My ten year old was desperate for this book as her teacher owns it. Clear text and diagrams and about the only origami book that makes sense with instructions that can be followed. We have all made hamsters and flown planes among other things.
