We buy these chocolate bars to make chocolate milk. It’s really expensive but there’s not much else out there that is better. We use raspberry honey, fresh raw heavy cream, and fresh raw milk (and no you don’t get sick drinking raw milk, that’s just what we’re told as they try to stop us from consuming things that are actually better and healthier for us) and approx 1/2 bar per 1/2 gal. It’s awesome! Have purchased these bars 5 or 6 times when and wherever we can find it.

I had an issue with shipping, not the product. The postal service caused a delay and I contacted Caputo's where the chocolate came from and the response was so immediate it was hard to believe! They immediately set out to correct everything. You just don't see that anymore in this day and age. It's nice to know that people care and want customers to have a good product and good service!This was a surprise gift for my son who told me this is his favorite dark chocolate.

Very old. Bad taste

its ok...but chocolate BONNAT-french is better and you can buy it here on Amazontry 100% cacao no sugar that has no bitter after taste and my favorite 75% Hacienda el Rosarioanother level of chocolate!

This dark chocolate is highly delicious and each bar has a unique chocolately flavor. There is definitely some craftsmanship going on here I have not encountered much in my years of chocolate consumption. The bars arrived fresh and carefully packed from Caputo's -the well known market and deli.

As part of my quest to try many different dark chocolates, especially those that promote positive practices and have the badges/certifications to reflect that, I especially appreciate those that allow me to try a variety of chocolates from different, singular origins. Being able to try a variety justifies the higher price in opinion, since you're able to try out a larger variety of chocolates than if you had purchased a single flavor. The range of cacao made it clear to me what I find most suitable. Also the packaging for each bar is nicely done, graphically informative, and kept the chocolate from getting easily broken in shipping. As far as the respective flavors, I don't remember them in detail, so I'll just summarize.Congo: bad.Brasil: Decent.Peru: It's alright (chocolate from other brands seems to be consistent in establishing its alright-ness).Nicaragua: Fine. Fruity, but not strongly, which makes it not bad (I'm very much not a fan of fruity chocolates).

The best chocolate I have ever had. You have never really tasted chocolate until you tried these bars. Go get some. You will not be disappointed.

Don’t taste good flavor wise and they were dried out when I received them. Spend your money on a highly acclaimed chocolate like Argencove instead.
