BUYER BEWARE: READ FIRST!!
A very low quality item.The feel is that of a cheap plastic and extremely fragile looking. Almost like a toyI am sorry to say that I had to return the item shortly after I recieved it in fear it might not hold up and possible leave a piece like the usb c Male portion broken off or somethingImagine if that happens??Pls mark as helpful if you found it so thank you :)

Works great!
Believe it or not, in addition to the "standard" USB port, my car has a USB Type "C" port. Since the USB drive I loaded with music is less than half the size of this (very small) adapter, so it doesn't stick out like a full-sized thumb drive. The plus is that I can charge my phone without having to ditch the music.

This is not a USB 3 type device, does work, just slow.
Despite the claim of USB 3.0 and up to 5gbps, this device has only 4 pins (pre USB 3), none of the other 5 pins exist which are used for high speed data defined for USB 3.

DOES NOT FIT FULL USB PORT
Super cheap, completely useless as the full USB cable doesn't even fit in.

BAZEMA Portable USB Type C to USB High Speed Adapter
Works fine but I have a case on my Google Pixel2 XL and I find it necessary to remove the case before this item can be inserted all the way and function

Stopped working after 1 month
I have had this for for a while now.After the first month, it stopped working properly and I had to keep adjusting it and then hold it for it to work.Since the beginning, it only worked with my printer, my flash drive never worked with it nor could I ever charge my phone.
