I bought another popular organic brand... it had pebbles in it! Also there was this flour in it that made the oatmeal pasty and super gross. The oats themselves were a mush paste. I tried another organic brand and the same thing. Even the thick cuts were paste laden. It turned me off to oatmeal a while. But I had the craving and my acid reflux does really well with oatmeal I went back to good old Quaker Oats. It was such a huge difference. I make my oatmeal with less liquid to keep it chewy. But I tried the box recommended amount, even though it had more water, my oatmeal was fantastic and chewy and none of that flour pasty I had with the other brands. I will never buy anything else.
