Nightlite Green Off-White Rectangle

We have used Limelites for many years now. They are reliable (we have never had one burn out) the soft green glow is very easy on our eyes, they throw off enough light at night to see your way around a pitch black house with ease.These are the most energy efficient lights I have ever found, they only draw 0.03 watts. To put that into perspective, a standard night light at 3.0 watts uses one hundred time the power of these lights. Not even LED lights get close to how efficient Limelite is. This a completely different technology called electroluminescent panels which have actually been around for a very long time, but they do not put out a bright light nor ca they put out a while light, so they can't be used for regular room lighting but they are ideal as night lights.We have at least one Limelight in each room and you can walk around in otherwise total darkness and see very well without losing any of your night vision. The only issue I have had is that a few of them have developed dark spots over the labels after years of use. I still don't now what causes this effect and they still light up the room but my wife this that they look unsightly when they do that.We just moved into a much larger place so I needed more night lights and went ahead and purchased more Limelights because there simply is nothing better on the market.

These are my favorite, "Night lights". I use these in a few areas of the house, such as near stairs, and in hallways, so I can find my way around, without having to flip on the main lights in those areas. These lights cast a soft green glow. It's very unobtrusive, and a softer, more even glow, then what the green LED night light's cast.These lights do dim over time. It doesn't take too long, about 1-2 years of constant use. However, after they dim, they still cast off a decent amount of light. The package that a recent Limelite arrived in, I read the text on it, and it read that Limelite guarantees a certain brightness of the light, for 10 years. After 10 years of use, it would be a good idea to replace them, anyway. I plugged the new Limtelite next to a same model Limelite that has been in use for 3 years, constant, and there was a noticeable difference in brightness between the two, but not too dramatic.I have purchased these lights on Amazon before. There used to be a twin-pack, but it has been out of stock for a long time. I prefer the soft green glow of these lights, to the LED night lights. I looked around in stores, and online, but most places had LED, or if they did stock these Limelite electroluminescent lights, they were priced more than I recall the retail price being.I decided to go to Limelite's official site, and look at their list of authorized resellers. I suggest you do the same, as you can find these same Limelite night lights, online, in many places, for very a very reasonable price. I am unsure why Amazon has not decided to keep these in stock.

This is the best nightlight that I have ever used. Low energy usage with just the correct amount of light - no glare or bright spots. It's amazing that they are still made in the USA. Pricey, but worth it. I hope Amazon keeps selling them.
