Dr. Lee .... I Will Buy Your UGLee Pen Again Even Though The Inside Ink Supply Is Crap ..
The more that I use computers, the more that I appreciate having a real good pen ... which makes writing a joy .... this coming from a guy who's been a pen snob for decades ..... I would recommend this pen to anybody, as long as they know the pros and cons.PRO - The grip - At almost 6 ft tall and with hands that glove manufacturers refer to as extra large; the slippery silicon-gel sleeve is very comfortable when the tip of my thumb and first finger, plus the first knuckle of my middle finger, wrap around it. The combination of this long sleeve and the light weight of the pen allows it to lay very comfortably on the skin-pocket between my thumb and first finger ... plus it's contoured, which would adapt to anybody's personal grip.Another terrific feature is that the sleeve is not attached to the pen's skinny plastic core, allowing both to move independently of each other. No matter how light or heavy you grip a pen, eventually it will slide between your fingers .... if this happens with, say, a hard stick pen, the discomfort of your skin will only add to the fatigue of your hand. You may have to stop occasionally to move the sleeve away from the point of the pen .... but after doing it a couple of times and realizing that it's an advantage, you won't mind.CON - The Ink Cartridge - the pen did write smoothly for about a week, the the ink started clumping around the tip, which I constantly had to blot out on a Kleenex. It was also a broader tip than I'm used to, being that I have the kind of handwriting that benefits from a finer point. After another two weeks the pen started skipping and eventually stopped writing, even though taking the clear cartridge out, it looked like it was still full of ink. Then I bought some cheap Paper Mate Ink Joy pens and found that if I cut about half an inch off the back end of the cartridge, it fit in the UGLee pen like a glove. One other warning .... don't leave an UGLee in your shirt pocket and put it through a wash cycle .... the ink didn't leak, but it didn't end well for the smaller plastic parts near the clicking mechanism. This is not written to discourage you Dr. Lee ... it's a great product, and I'm sure you'll continue to make improvements on it when you can.

you money is better spent elsewhere
Poor quality . The grip is comfortable at first ... but being able to write all day without cramps ect is quite and overstatement . The barrel of the pen is of the same quality you would fine in a generic economy package set of writing implements such as you'd find at Staples or Office Depot/Max . I found the ink flow to be good and reliable unlike previous reviews , however since the rest of the pen is made with such cheap materials I'm sure the ink is far from consistent. The grip is the only redeemable quality ,personally I would save your money especially with the added cost of shipping. The only truth I could find in advertising was the ugly part ; That hit the nail on the head.

I love these pens
I love these pens, but the grip seems to attract a lot of lint. I like the nice dark thick lines of the ink, but sometimes you get clumps of ink

Comfortable but does not last
I (being a self-proclaimed nerd) set out to find the most comfortable and best writing pen that a student could afford. I worked in an office for seven years and now I'm a law student so I do a LOT of writing. My hand cramps up pretty easily, but I think its because of how I grip my pen; pretty tightly. The grip on this pen is WONDERFUL, and it extends all the way down, which I have not seen before and really like. BUT I feel like the manufacturer put all of their money into the perfect grip and forgot about the rest of the pen; and I mean everything else about the pen.The barrel is a cheap plastic. I actually laid my Uglee Pen down on the table and looked at it at eye level...it didn't even lay flat! The barrel was slightly warped!I've used this pen for three weeks, averaging five days a week and about 3-4 hours of average writing (note taking) per day. The pen has now STOPPED writing. I opened the pen and the cartridge looks full still, but nothing comes out. I've tried cleaning the tip (which constantly collects debris from I don't know where, as if the ink has a residue that builds up), I've tried wetting the end just a bit, scribbled, scrabbled, flexed the cartridge to maybe loosen the ink/gel/fluid/whatever (long shot I know), nothing.I could not believe that it was already done. At least I didn't pay the manufacturer's price on their website. Save your money, this pen is comfortable, but not worth the hassle. I might try to reuse the grip on another pen though.

Awesome pen. This is the one you want.
I read all over the Internet about ergonomic pens. My wife was always saying how much her weighting hand hurt from work.So I figured I'd try and help. She loves the pen, it really does help with fatigue. Like anything it only helps so much, but worth it.
