Actual waist measurements are size28-30inches, size29-31inches, size30-32inches, size31-33inches, size34-36inches, size36-38inches, size38-40inches, and size40-42inches. We came up with the selvedge 4-way stretch (season neutral at 10.5oz and with 2% stretch in the weft and 2% stretch in the warp) to give our jeans the perfect amount of 360 degree, multi-directional stretch without compromising the authenticity of Japanese Denim. These jeans, made in-house at our factory in LA, use Japanese thread and every pair incorporates the attention to details that you’d expect from KATO’. They will fade like raw denim should… except they are more comfortable than any other jeans you have ever tried on. No one except you will know that you are wearing “stretch” jeans. Once you try them on you will be hooked!

This brand sizing runs VERY small
While I have at least 12 pairs of jeans of many brands in my closet they are all size 36. So I ordered these in a 36 but what arrived is MUCH smaller. When put side by side I’d say they were no more than a 32.

Great quality, but with a slightly unexpected fit
I like the quality of these jeans — you can tell that they’re going to last a long while.I’m a former track sprinter (high school level, nothing too serious) but my legs are maybe a little bulkier than the average person, and based on the size charts I ordered a 32. I’m 5’10” and 166 lbs.The fit through the thighs is noticeably tight, and a 33 was been too large on me in the waist, but a 31 was too small. Even though that left me at a 32, the jeans became a little bit loose in the waist — but *only* in the waist — upon wear. They maintain their very skinny profile all the way down to the hem, and I think they’re probably a little bit skinner than I’d like.Overall, they’re great jeans but I’m not sure the fit is quite right for me. I’ve got a pair of their heavier-weight denim in this size and they fit like a charm, so I’m wondering if the fit has something to do with the lighter weight of these jeans.

dont buy them until they change some things
I bought these stupidly on their site cause I wanted the dumb welcome discount but once I got them I should not have ignored the red flagsone they DO come maybe a bit too small and never tell if they're unsanferised or not and I should've went with 30 size I said I wear Levi's 29 32 what will work and someone got back to me and didnt really seem all too excited idk not big deal tho but told me 29 will maybe be just fine and I got the 29 and it wasn't that extra room I liked I did know it'll stretch out but also it was a bit too skinny idk just cant send them back thocause I had to wash them cause reasons and they shrunk so badly maybe they'll stretch out again they're super soft now but they're just not funand even if you say that's all my fault which it is but something I hate so much about these Jean's are PLEASE make the pockets bigger there's zero excuse for how small they are my galaxy S10 a smaller phone sticks out so much from them they're not useful I just cant use these maybe I'll find a tailor they're great incredible stretch tho they're comfy! nice as heck feeling demin at first too before I washed them were maybe a bit too hard bit started to soften up just please specify tell me if they're preshrunk I could just buy a size 30 them and try shrinking them I just hate how I wasted kind of 180$ bucks for these tiny pockets, they're not fun to wear mostly cause these stupid tiny pockets I guess I'll go with trying more gap jeans again
