Schultes and Hoffman? You can't go wrong...
This is a wonderful book to read and an essential for any intellectual psychonaut, enthobotanist, or simply someone who wants to know the origin of man's exploration into higher planes of consciousness. The information is partially outdated but no more outdated than the info we (most people) hold true to be today. Anywhere is a good place to begin this journey. Besides Schultes is the man.
