    Perfect for home or Robots

Wonderful kit for my husband. He has been needing one to work on a few electronic item around the house and my son just got into Robotics and will be using it for that. The kit has everything you would need for soldering and then some. The case is handy and the 4 locks keep the lid very secure.

Personally, I have a main soldering Iron, but needed something for outside of the shop for quick fixes, and with the price point of this and everything that comes with it i'd say it's absolutely worth the price.The attachments make getting decent soldering joints easy and the heatshrink and various other accessories are a necessity for any soldering project. Honestly this just overall surprised me in quality for price.

The iron works fine but the tips are junk. I'm not new to soldering and I understand that you get what you pay for - but the tips should last longer than 15 minutes. They disintegrated directly into the pieces I was soldering ruining the smooth texture I needed. I even tried lowering the iron temp but the tip still melted/disinterested in minutes.I'm keeping the iron but had to immediately order more tips.
