Will this work on a mac book air

I'm not using on mac book air...but under item description it says "Compatibilty: Windows 2000, XP, VISTA, 7, 8 & 10, Mac(Kindly note that the side buttons cannot work for Mac OS. Other Buttons can function normally.)"..... Hope that helps.

Hi - is the left click on this mouse soft or stiff? (I get pain in my index finger joint so don't want to have to apply a lot of pressure to click).

I found both right and left clicks slightly softer than other mouses.

Does this mouse work with a usb adapter (usb to mac)?

My HP laptop has only type c holes no usb holes, so the adaptor is a type c which I plug into the laptop then plug the receiver which is a usb into the adaptor. So if you have usb hole I believe you could plug the receiver directly into the usb hole, you wouldn't need the adaptor. I needed an adaptor and this, so far works perfectly.
