These mat down within a gallons use and tend to shed up until the end. That being said, they are so cheap you can just throw one away and get the next one when it mats too much. I only recommend them for rough surfaces where the shedding won't show. I use them on rough cedar siding just fine.

Can not be beat for the price, take some painters tape to it to take off the lent and it is good to go. I wish they had a 3\8.
