The media could not be loaded.  Looking at the little manual that came with the device, it looks like I was sent the wrong one. Apparently, they make different variants of this device that have different capabilities. If the device beeps twice when it boots up, then it would only copy "EM" based RF cards (and not HID ProxCards). On the other hand, three beeps mean it also support HID and AWID. You may want to make sure you check your device when you receive it to make sure it works as intended. If you press Read on your card but it does not respond with any beeps, then it means that the reader is unable to read the card you are trying to clone...

While this product was simple to use because it only involved switching it toon and then pressing read and write buttons, it took quite some time (15-20) minutes for each read and write process, hence the 3 star rating for easy to use. After 43 minutes of trying to successfully get a “pass” beep/light to indicate the read and write process took, none of the RFID access tags were effective. I will be returning as this did not work for me.

We lost one of our keyfobs for our apartment complex. They typically charge something like $80-120 for replacing the thing, even though you can buy 100 of the exact same one for less than $100. I bought this for something like $30 and just copied mine. It was Prox HID tag (125 Khz) and this little thing copied it fine, and came with plenty of tags. Now, not only did we replace the one we have, but we have spares for guests, and even one on our dog's leash, in case one of us is walking him and forgot to grab keys.Easy to use, worked great. There are cheaper ones that look to be the same. The difference in price seems mostly to be the number of keyfobs/cards/stickers each comes with. I wanted lots, because I wanted to play around with RFID. I'd suggest you look at the others and buy the listing that fits your needs. Odds are it's an identical machine from an identical factory.

Had absolutely no issues with this device. It was so easy, didn't even need to read the instructions. Two button clicks, and I had a duplicate key fob that worked just like the original one. It was a whole lot cheaper than buying another fob from my apartment complex!

This worked exactly as advertised and is pretty simple to use. The reason I didn't give it five stars is that the instructions weren't written by a native English speaker and as such are confusing and difficult to understand.

This looks like a crappy Chinese-made product, but it works like a charm. My building's manager is a dick so I made copies of the parking card.It comes in a nice box that you can use to store the device, and there are cards and fobs included. There was even an Angry Birds fob as a gift.Beware of fakes, which will be cheaper than this. Also it is good to know there are two kinds, one is two beeps and another is three beeps. This one is the three beeps, which means that it can copy HID as well.

My apartment building gave us two fob keys, one for me and one for my husband. Problem is, we need 2 more -- one for our cat sitter who comes when we're on vacation, and one for occasional guests. Our building won't give us new ones unless we claim to have "lost" ours, and then they charge like $60 each. We ordered this little device for our HID Prox fob keys and it WORKED. A very pleasant surprise. Keys for everyone!

Works great with the xceedID/ schlage 7610s. Put batteries in, hold fob against left side, press read, three beeps, swap with blue blanks, press write, three beeps, easy.
