An excellent compendium of relevant articles
I am a graduate student studying the topic of workplace harassment so I was very interested in getting this book because it is recently published and there aren't many books or articles that approach the problem from multiple angles. I found the book to be incredibly insightful because it explores workplace bullying from individual, group and organizational angles, as well as suggesting coping strategies.

An interesting approach
As a whistleblower attorney, author and CEO of a national office that confronts workplace bullying and harassment, I strive very hard to be collegial and not overly critical of anyone who writes about or discusses workplace bullying. Thus, I can say that this was a fine read and contributes value to a general understanding of workplace bullying. What qualifies me to comment authoritatively on this issue? As an attorney and former federal official, I personally took on one of the largest departments in the federal government for harassment, workplace bullying and retaliation (against me)!I succeeded to my full satisfaction in my legal action against abuse from officials at the Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, and the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer - U.S. Department of Homeland Security Headquarters. Yes, you heard it correctly, so-called civil rights/EEO and personnel officials were the very ones who sought to bully and harass me!Moreover, with nearly 22 years of experience in anti-harassment, anti-bullying related work -having served as the Human Rights Director of two municipalities, a police executive, a national security official, and having singlehandedly established the first-ever ANTI-HARASSMENT UNIT for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Headquarters, my credentials are beyond question. Thus, as one of the nation’s premier authorities on workplace bullying and harassment, unlike many authors I take a collaborative rather than competitive approach to remarking on the serious work of fellow authors. Indeed, I applaud any author who speaks seriously and intelligently on the national epidemic of workplace bullying. The reading experience of a novice might very well be more gratifying than my experience with this writing, which I hope is the case because I want every reader to be helped. Yet with my level of expertise on this subject, I would have preferred to see more substance and legal sophistication herein.Nevertheless, I found this writing to offer some key reminders to me. It is a fine read and I encourage the author to continue this important work. Those of us in the anti-bullying community must be supportive of each other's endeavors.
