Impeccable design, packaging and social responsibility!
I had heard about Yellow Leaf hammocks from a friend who went on a Virgin Cruise and raved about them! As I looked into the company, not only did they have a variety of designs, but I loved that they worked with immigrant workers in Thailand to pay a fair wage and provide safe working conditions. Each hammock has a personal tag with the name of the worker who created it. Speaking of packaging, the hammock bag is not only chic, but a well thought out design to be able to safely pack your hammock chair with ease. Best of all, it’s the most comfortable place to curl up with a good book, listen to the cicadas and enjoy a cup of coffee. A+!

Surprisingly sturdy and comfortable
This hammock is perfect for what I wanted it for: a comfortable reading and lounging chair for my backyard "living room." It comes in a really nice storage/travel bag. I just bought a basic hammock chair stand to go with it as I don't have any trees or other suitable hanging location in my small space. The weave is sturdier than I expected and it's extremely comfy to sit in. I love that I can tuck my legs in or extend them out, and it works like a regular chair too.We had some pretty heavy rain soon after I got it and it dried very quickly afterward, which is another bonus over other types of hammocks.

So soft and comfortable!
I love how comfortable this hammock is! So lightweight but still strong, and much more comfy than a nylon one. It is intricately made and lovely to look at. I like this chair version because I can sit in it like a swing or turn and use it laying down. It comes in a nice carrying back as well. I envision many, many more lazy afternoons in it in my future!

A piece of heaven in my living space
I ordered this hammock after taking a cruise on Virgin Voyages. It was so comfortable that I had a hard time leaving it behind. There was a small issue with the original hammock, but the company took care of it right away. Would highly recommend purchasing a hammock from them! Their product is amazing and their customer service is on point!

Love this hammock
We discovered these hammocks when we were on a cruise with virgin. They were very easy to hang on our porch.

Lots of yarn
The yarn is a softer type than most hammock chairs, but the woven bed is quite smalll, leaving the majority as plain strings tied at the hook. I thought it was not a good value.

Love-lightweight yet sturdy!
I've loved Yellow Leaf hammock chairs ever since trying on a Virgin Voyages Cruise- they make all the hammocks. They are amazingly lightweight, yet very sturdy. The chair style is very supportive. I live an apt, so purchased a chair hammock stand from another company). Love that the hammock folds up into small carrying case so I can easily take it elsewhere. Would also make an excellent housewarming gift!

Lacks support, thin material, pulled strands all over.
I have tried many, many hammocks recently. After a few months I decided to buy it and I was beyond disappointed. When I unwrapped it the material felt and looked like it was made of dental floss. IMHO this hammock is way overpriced and a higher price tag doesn’t mean you’re getting a better deal. I do hope that the cost is higher so the company can help the people that make these. There were many loose and pulled threads all over the hammock. One needs to be mindful of what they are wearing such as jewelry, etc. Stay away from anything that may snag on the threads like velcro. It’s not easy to get on in and out. Once I got in and I couldn’t adjust myself and this does not allow for making adjustments. I couldn’t find myself feeling confident enough that it could hold me. I’m 5’2” and about 115.There are many options that cost a lot less, are made with thicker and more sturdy material and give a better of safety. The pros are: comes in a nice carry case, the colours were spot on, it’s handmade and it (hopefully) supports a charitable organization.Hope this helps someone.
