Might be a little tall
Connected with no issues, definitely extended my signal range.Be cognizant of the length. 7" inches is above the antenna base plate so it may be a little tall. I need to be careful when loading surf boards.

A great replacement on my 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. Sure beats paying $85 for one from the dealership. Cheap price and works perfectly!

Didn't fit 98 Forester as advertised
Bought this antenna that specifically said it was compatible with a 1998 Forester. It is not. The included screw piece is too short to screw into the hole and the antenna. Not compatible, returning.

Works great for a 2012 Forester. Using the smaller threaded screw and it is an exact match for the original antenna that was lost.

It works, but it doesn't screw down completely. Concerned that if the car wash people remove it that they will put it on too loose and fall off
