Bright
They are bright and use very little power

Nice lights
They give out a nice warm light and are easy to install. They aren't as long as they appear in the picture. Total length is about 11. 9" but the actual lighting area it about 10.5". All in all, they work very well on my boat as indirect lighting. I replaced an old 3 bulb halogen fixtures in my stateroom. But one has already quit working and had to be replaced. Hopefully, it was just a defective one out of the 6 I've ordered.

Product gets hot
Good color and brightness easy to install. Product gets very warm almost hot to the touch after about five minutes of use

Hot as a firecracker
Light output was good and color quality was good. However, these thing run hot as a firecracker and won't last long at these high temperatures. There is no built in voltage regulator. These things really should not get this hot and I think it is caused by ballast resistors wasting energy instead of higher end electronics that are way more efficient. LED's only last 1000's of hours when they are properly regulated and temperatures are kept low. My application was to replace florescent light in an RV. This means they will get hot and will need to last a long time. I have used some T-20 LED replacement bulbs that are almost as bright as these but are barely warm to the touch without any heat sink.

Heat
These lights get extremely hot to the touch on the metal part. If using the 3M double sided tape the lights will get so hot they won't stick after so long and will fall. I would say after so long of use the plastic ends will become dry rotted due to the excessive amount of heat put off. There are screws to permanently secure and magnets as well to secure to metal. Spend a little bit more money and find something different.
