Guitarlele for Ukulele and Guitar Players

Too Hard for a Beginner as a Stand-Alone Tutorial
I've been playing guitar and ukulele for many years, and I find this book rather difficult to digest & apply. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, unless you're using this along with Terry's full video course.

Fun instrument finally gets a method book
Fun instrument and this book is very comprehensive. Fun to use, and additive to what you might think you know.

Easy to follow
A nice beginner sampler of style and technique as applied to the guita(r)lele. Short and sweet, but seems to cover the basics.

Disappointingly poor
At over £12 this book contains only 34 pages, one of which is given up to a diagram of a guitalele!. There is a very elementary section on notation and very little helpful text. Only 42 chords are depicted. All the tab songs are 'soundalikes'- for example 'Blowing Away (in the style of Bob Dylan)'. If you have much experience of guitar or uke playing it is hard to see what you will get out of this book that you can't get already get off the internet. I bought it because Terry Carter's You Tube instruction is intelligent and helpful, but this book is a let-down and it isn't helped by the home spun philosophical sayings that pad out the thin text. Surely Terry Carter can do better than this.

it's ok
Not a lot in this book, chords and some songs there is not much out there for the guitalele, so this is ok enough
