I like that this fits a little loose. The actual Makita batteries are way too tight, especially after using them for extended periods of time.**Updated Review (3/16/2020)**OK, so now that the return window has closed on these batteries, 3 out of the 4 are dead. I had used em in my yard in my Makita saw, The 3 batteries must have blown the fuse or something inside. I wasn't even rough with them. I was just cutting plywood sheets into strips. The little battery minder doesn't even light up. So if you are looking to throw away money on useless crap, toss it here.

Not very durable
It was good while it lasted. But only lasted a bout a month or 2. As long as you don't drop it and are super careful with it probably would be good, but let's be for real it's a power tool, it can not handle normal wear and tear as it should.

Defective
Garbage. First charge it was cool. Second charge, defective. These are defective batteries.

Eight Months Only
Worked fine for about eight months. Using it the other night and the battery made a popping noise. No longer works. Never used it that hard either. Just household stuff.

Did not last very long
The smaller Makita batteries I had lasted years. I bought this larger capacity replacement as the price was good, but the battery did not last long at all. Next time, Makita.

Whil never buy another battery except from this seller, so long as they supply batteries AMAZING battery! Undoubtedly better than the OEM. Has battery gauges. Last literally ALL day long in my impact 1/4 in driver using it often throughout the day. I've never got that from a "M" battery.
