UPDATE: We've been using this charger daily for 6 months, and it has been very reliable. The only issue we had was that the LCD became washed out and unreadable. We contacted the seller and they responded the same day. They reasonably asked for a photo of the problem, and by the next day they had shipped out a replacement! It arrived within the week--it was brand new and never used. We replaced it and sent the old unit back, and they promptly credited us for the cost of shipping. If you were concerned that the seller might not stand behind the product, our story shows that they are committed to good customer service. The new unit looks great with a very clear, legible LCD screen.Original: We use this to charge our Tesla 3 and Mini Countryman PHEV, and it works like a charm. The reasons we bought this one over some of the more popular brands like Chargepoint and Juicebox were as follows:1. No Wi-Fi: While I love all the data that you can get over an app-driven charger, we've read reviews and heard from others that the Wi-Fi connection on the other units can be spotty and fail. We are not as concerned about the data, and just wanted something that was plug and play. This is LITERALLY plug and play. It even has an on/off switch. You turn it on, plug it into the car, and it starts charging. You can use your car to set when you want the charging to start or stop, so no need for complex planner on the charger.2. LED display: While I love the minimalist look of some of the other units, I still come from a time when I like to see what my monolithic piece of technology is doing. At a glance, instead of having to dig into my phone and start an app, I can see if the unit is charging (there is a cascading green LED that shows power flowing out); what the amp rate is (the Mini charges at 15amps max, the Tesla at 32 amps); how long it has been charging; what the temperature of the unit is (usually anywhere from 95F to 115F); and if there are any faults.3. Easy to install, not super heavy: We hired an electrician to install it for us and he marveled at how light it was and easy to get on to the wall. It comes with a cord hanger as well as a charger holster, which helps keep a clean look in our garage.4. 40amp circuit needed, not 60 amp: We love our Tesla but the Tesla charger unit requires our electrician to wire straight to the main board outside of our house (limitations of our house panel). This one runs off 40amps so the electrician just used our existing microwave and fridge 20amp breakers and put in a bridge to get us to 40amps. Easy peasy, and saved us another $500 in running the line out to the main board.5. Clean look: I love the way this looks in our garage. Not too fussy or big, and full of information.For us this was a good solution because we needed something that worked for both a Tesla and a "regular" EV/PHEV. If the list above is important to you, then maybe this is the right one for you as well.FYI, we've had it for a month and its been flawless, but we can't speak to longevity yet.

I had an electrician mount the unit while installing the new outlet to power it. I have been using it for a month. It gets up the amps pretty quickly once the plug is connected to the vehicle. The included cord holder is helpful since I do not have to run the plug very far to the vehicle.I considered looking for one with more features to manage charging times to favor off-peak electrical rates but decided to go with this more straightforward system.Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

Used daily to charge a Chevy Bolt. seemed like a well built unit but failed after about 3 1/2 months of use. 3 year warranty is meaningless if seller does not respond to emails. If this is the level of customer service that can be expected then I'd recommend paying slightly more for a charger from a more reputable company. Also, as others have stated the cord hook was included but no plug holder as shown in the picture.Update: Seller finally contacted me and is replacing the defective charger as well as reimbursing shipping costs.Update #2: Replacement unit failed in the same manner again after about 4 months of use, had purchased a portable level 2 charger by same manufacturer as a backup and started using it daily when second charger failed. It has also failed after about 4 months of use. I am done with Morec.

This device attaches easily to the wall, is 'clean looking' and if you already have power, it is about a 10-15 minute installation. I had two issues. First, it shows that it comes with a plug receptacle for the wall when not in use. This was missing from my installation even though the box looked factory sealed. The other was the Amazon service to install the power. After the first attempt where the installer simply did not show up (or call), they simply cancelled my order saying it wasn't available. Not cool Amazon....I had to go to a local installer and am waiting for them. I hope the unit does indeed work or I might be outside of my return window because of these delay.**Edit** While I haven't verified the operation of the unit yet until I get power to it, it wasn't fair to give the product a low rating due to the service (supplied by Amazon). I changed the rating to 4 until I get power as the company also reached out to me and is supplying me the missing plug cover that was not in the package but was shown on the product page. Thank you so much for resolving this and I await powering this up to give a 5 star rating. Thanks!**Edit 2** Got the 240v installed (did it myself) and this is definitely a quality charger. Nice clean display and reduced the charging time from 5+hours to 2 hours for a Prius Prime. Changing to 5 stars as the manufacture sent me the missing holder and was very communicative.

This was easy to install and works great. My only complaint is the Tesla adapter constantly comes off when taking it out of the car.

Nice product. Very easy to install. Works great with my BMW. And way less expensive than many other chargers available. Looks good too.

I've had the unit for several months, now and it works perfectly, charging my Clarity in about 2-3 hours. The design is hadsome, with nice usage of LED lighting. The ON/OFF switch is lighted also, providing a positive indication that it's on. When the car is accepting a charge, the amount of current draw is displayed. When the car is done charging, the current draw is shown as being 0 A. Works as advertised.

Compre este dispositivo y no es compatible en México. Es 220-240 volts monofásico y CFE no entrega ese voltaje en una sola fase, se requiere de dos fases, obvio tampoco cumple con la Norma Oficial Mexicana.
