TF Dreamfactory - GOD-09 Steel Claw
T**T
FINALLY, WE GET A LEADERCLASS BONECRUSHER
This TFcollect with another editorial review of the DreamFactory God-09 SteelClaw aka LeaderClass Bonecrusher from the 2007 film TransformersI must say I was never truly impressed with Hasbro deluxe class or the recently released SS version of this character. It was an injustice. He was just too small in scale. Tf-DreamFactory answered my prayers and did it in a big way. He fits incredibly well with leaderclass mpm Optimus Prime perfectly and he looks awesome.VEHICLE MODE: he come packaged already in his vehicle mode and he looks gorgeous at first glance. Complete with big rubber tires and articulated mine sweeper arm with working pistons. I mean he is a monster and looks very intimidating just like his movie CGI counterpart. The mine sweeper arm is very articulated and it's on a swivel base. You can move it up down fowards backwards and bend it easily. His dessert color scheme screams combat ready. He's highly detailed to the smallest degree, I mean he's molding wonder of a figure. You'll love every piece of him.TRANSFORMATION: is his only downside. I've reviewed many TF figures and where theres one downside theres a few more ready to be discovered. But he is the exception. His transformation is the ONLY downside to this figure. First off....hes a parts former. But that's ok, because most of his parts has a very creative function to them. I'll get to that later. Anyway, his Tfomation has an abundance of steps and tabs to make you dizzy. And he has very tight joints to where you may feel that you might break him. Fortunately he is a very sturdy figure. Now, his back, which is his roof in vehicle mode may give you a problem tabbing it in place. You have to make sure you transform it to the letter, or it will be impossible to tab it in. The TFormation is a tedious process, but once complete you'll find that patients is truly a virtue. Because once you get see him in his badass destructive glory....you'll be impressed.ROBOT MODE: Bullyish, intimidating, jaw dropping Masterpiece of a figure. Massive and bulky. And a perfect way of commemorating such a Movie Character. He is impressive to say the least. He looks like he jumped off the screen and onto your collectors shelf. He has very good articulation. No waste swivel or wrist swivel. But he has extendable firearms that unfold and stretch out. And it looks amazing. He stands about 10" tall. He is very movie accurate. His headsculpt is superb and highly detailed. You have see his face, its nightmarish and highly articulated and he has LEDs for his spine tingling red eyes. He has tattoos one with his name "bonecrusher" written on him. He is a beast of a Robot and looks like he loves carnage. And TF-DeamFactory has found a way to make this figure carry that in his frame and stature. And with the clamping claws protruding from his back, just adds to overall fear factor effect he brings.ASSESSORIES: as I mentioned, he is a parts formers. And for certain parts, they combine into his weapon. They are his exhaust systems and his transmission. You put them together and.... you get a cannon. His rear ladder has no storage spot. It detaches as well. He has 2 sets of claws. A normal set and the movie Grab set. You change them out for either mode. But again when either one are not in use, theres no storage space.IN CLOSING: TFDreamFactory has went far and beyond expectations to bring us the best Movie Masterpiece Bonecrusher ever. They used their own original design engineering for a very elaborate Transformation scheme that brings this figure to life and incorporating LEDs in his headsculpt was a very wonderful plus. In comparison to both of Hasbro efforts TFDF took it beyond hasbro's reach. TFDF took it out of the this Stratosphere. I applaud their efforts and say this is an absolute must have figure for every collectors shelf in the world. He's just that damn great looking in both modes. I've always wanted a Leaderclass sized bonecrusher since 2007, and TFDF delivered seemingly effortlessly. I love this figure in every way, for all of the right reasons. I'm Tfcollect
