Upset glasses broke/dont work after barely using them!!
I have to say I thought these glasses would be great for my husband to drive at night. We looked at a lot of anti-glare glasses and read about a bunch of different ones. After doing countless hours of research we decided that these would be the best ones to try. We read the reviews and for the most part they received good reviews (some people say they didn't work and there were a couple reviews where the glasses broke, but like any product bad reviews typically happen). We recieved them on time and they did come with a nice case. My husband said they were comfortable when he tried them on. I thought "good they will work out"..........well, unfortunately I was wrong. My husband tried them for night driving (the whole reason why we bought them) and he said they made no difference, the glare was the same. He wanted to return them right away because we only had a few days left to return them. I have to admit that he was right, we should have, because now we wouldn't be in the place where we lost the money on them and now don't have a pair of working glasses. I wanted him to try them again (I don't know why I thought that. If they didn't work that night or the next, why would they magically work on night 3). I gave them a try because I also have issues with night driving. For me, I thought I noticed a small difference when I drove. We ordered these in March, but by the time he tried them for driving it was in April. I thought that if it was past the expiration date and they didn't work for me I could re-sell them or gift them to someone else...I was wrong again! The 2nd time I tried them (June) I went to put them on my face and they broke! I understand that they arent expensive, but I expect a product to last longer than the less than 5 times they were worn. All together they were worn no more than 1 hour (1st night he wore them for 15 minutes, then 10 min, then I wore them for 20 minutes, and the last time I couldn't wear them because they broke. I think I was so disgusted with it I threw them in the garbage so I didn't have to look at them; I think I threw them away anyways). I am very upset, disappointed, and angry that I didn't listen to him when he wanted to return them back then. There are a cute pair of Aviator sunglasses that this company has that I wanted to get for myself, but now I am hesitant to order them because the other ones broke. These were hardly used, and well taken care of (put back in the case each time) so for them to break is ridiculous. Since these don't work I wouldn't order another pair (and even if they did I more than likely wouldn't order them anyway because they broke so fast). These are supposed to retail for around $50 (which isn't necessarily inexpensive for glasses) so if I would have ordered them at that price I would be even angrier. Should I order the sunglasses? In a way I feel as though the company should stand behind their product and try and make it right somehow (replacing them with something else or crediting me back what I spent). I hate leaving negative reviews, but unfortunately when I sent an email/message back in June I didn't receive any response back, so I decided I would post my experience on here. I gave it 1 star because they were comfortable. Some people said the glasses worked for them and there were no issues so I would still tell people to maybe give them a try, but return them right away if they don't work for you. I wish my experience was better, because I wanted those Aviator sunglasses!!

I absolutely love these glasses
I absolutely love these glasses.I drive eight to thirteen hours a day and these glasses have been awesome, they have actually replaced my previous Foster Grant favorites as the Foster Grant plastic temples have always broke at the screw. On a whim and reading the reviews, seeing a price that couldn't be beat, I ordered these glasses.Glad I did. If the system doesn't properly flag this review, it is for the typical "dark" sunglasses lens version. Not sure what some of the previous reviews stating the lenses are not really polarized are talking about, the lenses are very much polarized and do a fantastic job of eliminating glare. I have a clipboard I keep on my dash, with these glasses the white paper reflection off the dashboard is almost unnoticeable. Any glare/reflection of the dashboard as a whole is gone. I appreciate the lenses are not super dark but I can still drive directly into the sun and still have no vision problems. For the purpose of this review I have included a glasses schematic, please refer to it if you need to.The top bar/bridge and nose pad arms are a single piece of metal that extends to the end pieces. The end pieces are actually riveted through the plastic lenses to the main metal frame, the lenses have no lower frame but will never come out. It is quite solid yet very flexible if the glasses are seriously stressed. The nose pad arms are metal and adjustable by gentle force if you need to alter them for your beautiful nose arc. The nose pads themselves are solidly attached to the nose pad arms and are made out of a soft rubber/plastic compound. The nose pads have a a small series of holes that help prevent sweat and oils building behind the pads and causing slide or slip of the glasses. The pads are soft enough that I have never experienced discomfort on the ridge of my nose. The main frame of the glasses, punch riveted through the lenses to the main frame, attach solidly to the end pieces which have all metal construction and spring loaded temples which are simply fantastic. The spring temple hinges have a serious amount of flex outward and seem to be solidly built. The spring temple hinges have the right amount of tension to keep the temples comfortably pressed against your head for long days with no discomfort. The temple tips are the same soft rubber/plastic of the nose pads and grip no matter how much you sweat so the glasses dont creep downward on your nose and will stay put when looking straight down. You put the glasses on, they simply stay on, in the exact same position you put them on.They look real good, the main wire frame and pad arm mounts are behind the lenses so all that people see are the small stylish end pieces attached to sleek lenses with a metal bridge. They are very light but quality construction for the money, very easy to wear all day. The glasses came with a great rigid carrying case with a short lanyard clip, lens polishing cloth, and a cute little polarized verification card.

Best value for the money
I purchased the silver lenses, and they not only look good, but they feel great on your face. The shading is just right for daytime driving in sunny conditions or for most activities during the day. I would expect them to be too dark if used in low-light conditions, but not horribly so. The frames are metal so there is some adjustment you can do to make them fit your face, and the nosepiece is adjustable and has comfortably silicon-type pads which keeps the glasses in place even when active. You don't know how much difference polarized lenses make unless you switch back and forth from polarized to non-polarized. This is huge in rainy conditions as it cuts through the glare from lights hitting the water, which increases your visibility significantly while also reducing eye strain. Excellent overall product. These come well packaged in a rigid, zippered pouch or you can choose the microfibre drawstring bag to store them in. Also comes with microfibre cleaning cloth and a card to verify they are indeed polarized lenses. All of this arrived in a gift quality, drawer-style black cardboard box. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
