Sturdy, but 9 oz. isn't much, and decal is hard to read
Sturdy, but it does say it holds 9 oz. and I didn't realize just how small that is. For comparison, most of my "regular" size mugs hold 11-12 oz. My bad for not figuring that out. It does make the mug a bit hard to hold when the tea is very hot, though. My fingers are brushing up against the side of the (hot) mug.And YMMV on this part, but I love the saying on the cup; it's why I bought it. It's a light green, though, that doesn't show up well with any of the herbal tea I drink, and I drink several colors of tea. I haven't tried it with black tea yet, cuz I want a BIG cup with that kind of tea. Also, as you drink the tea and the cup becomes more and more clear, it gets to be impossible to read.I'd return it, but it perfectly balances another (high sentimental value) cup on my mug tree, so I'll just not be using it much. Too bad, because it's very well made.
