CRI in question :/
Order twice, three months apart (first in Sept 2019 and the second in Dec 2019). Unfortunately, it seems as though while listed as the same item, we received different quality LED strips. We were so pleased with the quality of the first order, which we've installed as an accent trim light, that we decided to continue with more in the same room and others in our home. But there's definitely a difference in what we have. That means we cannot really use them together.*Picture for reference*First ordered LED strip is on the left side of the picture. The second ordered is on the right. You can see that there is quite a difference between the two that we received. The first is the closest to the actual paint color of the room and you can see that there is the unfortunate green-cast that you normally get from lower CRI rated LEDs.While they work great and give off plenty of light, we can't use these together because there's such a difference. We now have to rethink of planned lighting design.

CRI 97.4 and 4221K measured…so perfect
MARSWALL LED Strip CRI RA 95 SMD5630 16.4Ft(5M) 300LEDs 60LEDs/M DC12V 10mm White PCB Flexible Ribbon Strip with Adhesive Tape Non-Waterproof (Natural White 4500K)It’s true…these lights are super accurate and throw beautifully balanced light. I measured them at various dimmed percentages from 10% up to 100% and they maintain spectrum accuracy without flicker. I used them for under cabinet/countertop lighting in my new garage workshop and will be using them in my new kitchen for under cabinet lighting as well. Nice color, power is difficult to predict
Nice color. The power draw is a little confusing. I cut and mounted the first 6.5 feet of under cabinet lighting and was worried that it pulled 55W using a Kill o Watt, as my dimmer was only rated for 7 Amps. But adding the remain 9 feet only draws 77W, total. My Led driver is outputting 12.3V. The lights are nice and bright at full power. At minimum PWM dimmer brightness to light the strip, they draw 1W on my Kill O Watt. A nice usable nightlight setting draws around 10W. with a PWM dimmer, there is some subliminal flicker at low power levers, but no flicker at useable light levels.

Mount on aluminum flat bar for best adhesion and lifespan
This LED strip really draws some current! I retrofitted an old LED aquarium lighting fixture with these (three 3' strips in parallel), and it drew a little over 3A at 12v or roughly 36 watts. Because of the current draw and the heat produced, I would greatly recommend mounting them on clean aluminum flat bar (at least 1/16" thick). This would not only provide far better adhesion than many other surfaces, but it would also allow for some much needed heat dissipation (heat is the #1 cause of premature LED failure). Another thing to watch out for is that your power supply is as close to 12V as possible. Because these strips use resistors instead of active current management, the higher the voltage, the more current the LEDs receive. I'm not sure what their current limitations are, or what their forward voltage drop might be, but I do know they get hot at 12V and are extremely bright as is. I wouldn't advise going above 13v unless you have some good thermal management.

Excellent CRI & brightness, but pretty hot.
I'm uncomfortable with mounting these on anything but aluminum to dissipate the heat! They get pretty dang warm for LEDs and resistors...Color is excellent, and I really wish these were available in 24V.

HI CRI ?
As a photographer, I made a strip light out of foam core, yes they are 4100K but, I had got add a Rosco 1/4 green to get it close to getting the red out. once you balance the light you are good to go, As a 35 year working pro, most lights need some level of correction. HMI's are really blue, so you add CTO. you need to understand that they have a lot of red.

Failed within 8 hours or use, but not before it was cut for installation so we can not return.
Unit operated fine during testing but after installation within one day of operation lights went from bright to very dim and then failed completely. We tested and confirmed that the power supply still works fine with other led strips. Also the description states that these LED strips are 5600K with a 90+ CRI. The actual unit has a tolerance between 5600-6000K and was closer to 6000K. Disappointing and a waste of labour, materials and effort.

Defective lights
The media could not be loaded. I ordered these lights twice and both times they didn’t work. I tried using them with three different 12v 2A adapters and each time they didn’t work. They’d just flicker in about 1 to 0.5 second intervals. I also tried 10 different outlets in my house. The exact same problem existed in every outlet.
