Great product
Yes expensive but you get what you paid for top quality professional soldering equipment!! Don't touch the many Chinese JUNK soldering station, l made the mistake of getting 2 different, 1 burnt out ,never got to temperature, the other one handed broke whilst soldering with it, stick to weller I've been using them for 50yrs never any problems, spare parts redely available should you need

Don`t mess about
Don`t mess about with soldering irons as I have done for years. Get the real deal, a Weller Soldering station. I thought there would be no difference but I can tell you, the difference is night and day. The iron maintains temperature and you know what the temperature is, so you get great consistent joints. Love it

Great soldering iron by a well known manufacturer.
Perfect for small component soldering projects, pencil style iron makes for easy handling on small circuits but powerful enough to handle bigger components. Clear display and easy to use controls. Adjustable offset for accurate temperature control when using various types of solder. Well worth the money.

Do not buy.
I have used Weller soldering stations for over 30 years, and the one thing they all do, 8 hours a day making guitar amps, is melt solder! I am on my 2nd one now, and no good. Also the 1 year warranty, as in UK law, expires after 30 days! which sounds 11 months early to me...... give it a big miss.
