Good working, no-nonsense parking sensor
I hesitated to purchase this unit as an informative review on its performance and quality could not be found. I am glad that I purchased this parking sensor. The targeted vehicle for this sensor is a dual cab Toyota Tundra pickup truck. This is a long truck that required long wires from the rear parking sensor, and the length of the wires were sufficient. I tried out all the sensors prior to mounting them, to verify their functionality as well as get a sense for their sensitivity. All units worked accurately out of the box. Distance accuracy is quite good, but no measurement is provided when an object is one feet and under. The beeper is a solid tone and the measured distance is at zero even if the object is one foot away. In my opinion this is fine as this distance is an adequate to stop. The two front sensors were mounted on the corners of the front bumper. The visual indicator is quite nice that it shows whether the object that you are getting close to is either on the left or the right side of the vehicle. The unit was professionally installed, and the installer surprised me with that he does not know how well these sensors will perform on a metal bumper. Per the installer some sensors loose sensitivity and they are not recommended for metal bumpers. I took a gamble and asked to have this parking sensor installed anyway. I can assure you all that they work perfectly on metal bumpers and their sensitivity has not diminished. To summarize, this unit is worth its price. It is accurate, easy to connect and the sensor unit mounts elegantly right behind the front windshield. The cords are long enough for pickup trucks. Would you need two additional sensors, for 8 in total, this can be accommodated. I would buy this product again.

Great for pickup truck
I had been searching for a system to install on my Nissan Frontier Crew Cab pickup that had longer sensor wires. This system has much longer wires than most which allowed installation in my longer vehicle. It took me a few hours and the instructions are not the greatest but it's pretty easy to figure out. The sensors come with letters on them to tell you what order to plug them in but the instructions don't give you a location to place them on the front bumper (right or left). When I was all done, my front two were backward so test the system before you close up your installation, I just had to switch where the wires were plugged into the supplied sensor box.

Great purchase for the price. Could use a little Quality Control. Broken after 6 months...
Product works well. Accurate within 2 inches, measured with a measuring tape. The hole saw is WORTHLESS. I immediately flattened the cutting edges of the blade drilling my first hole into the bumper.Easy to install, directions are pretty clear - not sure why that is the most common complaint. 4 wires, 12v, brake, reverse, and ground. Hardest part was figuring out where to run the wires to the cab, as I mounted my module behind my rear seats in the truck.Upon initial troubleshooting of the front sensors it took me a while to figure out, that they do not turn on the display unless there is something in front of the sensors.--7 MONTH UPDATE--After about the 5 month mark, it constantly throws false alarms out of the rear and the fronts barely work at all. Seems as though the control unit cannot handle the summer heat and has died. Updated to 2 stars for breaking within the first 6 months.

If you need them, and you are in a budget, buy it.
Considering the price, they work ok. I mean, yes, they sound when we are near an object, but they also beep a couple of times some minutes after we turn on the car, for no good reason. Sometimes it gets annoying, but is just momentary.

good, BUT
The wife has been driving the pickup (and supporting our body man because she can't judge the front right corner of our '09 Silverado). Since we have to 'further' support him, we're going to have him install it when he does the repairs (again) on the front right corner of the pick up. More then . . .

Yup... you need one
no matter how an amazing driver/car parking expert you one can be. sometimes when one is trying to park then thr wife starts to figh over something.. or lets just say you get distracted cause you had too much to drink or your on the phone.. you just need something to tell you stop backing up the car cause you are about to puncture a massive ozone hole in your wallet !!!GET IT !!!

Good product but....
Lacked any detail for layout instructions. Hole saw set screw was stripped,so I had to pre-drill pilot holes. No links to wiring diagrams.

I would recommend these to anyone
This system works very well on my tundra with the double cab and 8" bed. The wire for the farthest sensor from the back bumper is just long enough to make it to where I mounted the control unit under the passenger side dash. The readout works well for both front and rear. I would recommend these to anyone.
