Go longer than you need
Came with replacement clips and mounting ends. No instructions. It’s a cut from a bulk spring, so don’t expect the special curved ends of your original spring. Order at least 1-2 inches longer than what you’re replacing, so you can trim to length and the curves line up for the clips to be applied correctly. It took me longer to install because I had no experience, and I broke a sweat stretching the spring to reach the connectors. Now it looks and feels like the other original springs in the Lazy boy recliner with the same tension. Worth the effort.

Works like a charm! Recommended!!
Bought for old LaZBoy recliner, friend of mine had to install for me bc didn't have equipment at my house to do it. He has a shop w tools. Based on other reviews here, I bought two inches longer so it would fit better. We still cut about an inch off (one half rung) but fit perfectly, works like a charm!Feels like brand new chair now! Downside is it's not real easy to remove old spring & install new one, but it's worth the effort. I came out far cheaper than having a LaZBoy technician charge me a $99 service call plus $75 to install, which would have been about half the price of the chair! Thanks Tru Choice & Amazon!

Not as advertised and unsafe.
The product I ordered was for a 18” spring the package was labeled 18” however the spring actually measured 16” in length. Quality control was unsatisfactory. The spring was unsafe at each end with sharp pointed cuts...not tapered or dulled. Neither ends were as original parts replacement. I would not recommend this item.

La Z boy recliner repaired
My La Z boy recliner had a broken spring. I went online and a Youtube video or 2 showed me basically what was needed to repair the recliner. I searched for replacement springs and Amazon had replacement springs at a good price point. The replacement of the spring on my particular La Z boy recliner was a little difficult but I did manage to effect the repair.Bottom line much more cost effective than a new recliner and obviously less in the landfill.

Not what I thought!
I thought I was getting a kit. All I got was the spring. It was a real pain trying to straighten the old clips to remove them and even a bigger pain to reattach them. I wouldn’t buy this again.

Worked like a charm
I got the 24" one to be safe and did have to clip off one of the U's -- I don't think the 22" would have been long enough. (fortunately, I had a set of bolt cutters, so doing it was a snap) The hardest part was getting the old one out, but the new one went in easy enough. I can definitely tell where the new one is when I sit as it's just a bit firmer than the other places - but that's a good thing as it feels like it did when new.

Best deal for the money, without a doubt.
These springs are about twice the price of others shown on Amazon, for the Lazy Boy recliner, but they are much stronger and match the spring pattern on older Lazy Boy recliners. If your recliner has 18 inch springs, to fit properly, order the 20 inch ones, as they will work perfactly. If the center seat springs breaks, order 3 and replace the ones on each side of the center spring as well. This will improve the seat cushion support and prevent futher spring breakage.

Bad measurement
I ordered a 16” spring and it is 15” long. Too short to use. Ordered replacement one since I did order a 16” and second one was 14 3/4 long. I lengthen the first one and made it work but seller needs to learn how to read a tape measure.
