Waterhog Classic Entry Door Mat Dark Brown Color, 2' X 3' with Rubber Water Dam Border for Indoor or Outdoor By Anderson

I ordered two of these in Dark Brown. The color blends in well with our walnut floors which is a plus. One is in front of the doggy door and the other in front of our front door. I haven't figured out if it absorbs more water than the norm yet, I still see muddy paw prints around the house, but I'm sure it does a better job than what I had previously. What I really like is the one for the front door, our door had barely any gap between the sweep and the floor and we couldn't find a mat that would work because of it, this one does because of the edges are rubber. That in itself is 5 stars for me. It also seems quite well made and durable. I wouldn't call this a super attractive mat, more suited for the commercial aesthetic, but it works for us.

We have used this mat every winter and it continues to keep the rest of our home clean. It absorbs all the melting Chicago snow that we bring in on out shoes and boots and is easy to clean up after the winter. Even with vigorous wiping of our feet it is not fabulous at removing all debris from your shoes when you walk in the house so we use it to take out shoes off on and to leave them there until the next time we go outside. The profile of the mat is fairly thin so the door passes over it without a problem..

I just got my Waterhog. It looks sturdy, but I didn't realize that it would have a thick solid black rubber edge. I ordered the dark brown. Love the color, just not the thick black border. I was hoping to place it inside my front door since I liked the pattern, but it will go in the mud room since the dark border makes it look too industrial. Anyway, wanted folks to know what to expect prior to ordering.

We were looking for something to put under our 100 pound labrador retriever's water and food bowls, as his slurp spreads water in an impressing radius. The smaller mats from the pet stores didn't even come close, and our hardwood floor was taking a huge beating. While this isn't the most attractive mat in the world, it definitely performs as described. Would purchase again.

We bought this product as an alternative to a bathmat. We have a glass shower door that opens outward and causes water to drip on the bathroom tile. We were replacing rugs every few months because of this problem and decided to look for a more permanent solution. I was skeptical at first, because who wants an outdoor rug under bare feet on the bathroom floor. But surprisingly, this rug is actually rather soft and also cleans up easily. No more dripping through the rugs and no more constant cleaning! I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

I actually use this as a mat by the entry way of my cat's litter box. It catches the majority of the litter she tracks outside the box.

The quality seems good and there is nothing seriously wrong with this mat but for the price I expected great. Biggest complaint is that it seems light weight for its size. It slides a little on my concrete porch and the wind can lift it up and move it.
