Deep grooves for dirt
This mat is next to our sliding door to catch the dirt and leaves when we or the dogs come and go. It isn't soft to stand on in bare feet because of the deep grooves to trap dirt. The mat is true to size and does its job well while looking nice.I had hoped it would be non-skid because of the backing but it slides around on our wood floor. I will have to attach one of those stick-on rug holders because I don't like having to push it back into place several times a day or risk it sliding out from under us. I shake out the rug every other day so I'm not sure if the rug holder will survive that amount of movement for long.

Incorrect sizing
I purchased the 18x30 size of this mat a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it. It looks fantastic and has held up better than I ever expected. Two years out in the rain and snow, and it looks almost exactly like the two I have received in the past couple of days. And that's the problem. I liked the 18x30 size so much I decided to order the 20x36 version to replace another entrance mat. What was sent was shrink-wrapped and had a "20x36" sticker on it, but it was, in fact, 18x30. So I submitted for a replacement item, which arrived today. Again, it's packaged up as if it's 20x36, but it's again 18x30. So while I wholeheartedly recommend this brand of mat, they either don't seem to actually have a 20x36 version, or they've got everything mixed up in the warehouse. So a 1 star review for accurate description and issues with a replacement, mixed with 5 stars for the mat look and quality nets out at a 3 star review.

Doing its job nicely
I've had this down by my sliding glass door for three days now and am impressed with the amount of dirt and debris it is picking up from my dogs and children who frequent this backyard door. Leaves and dirt are stuck on the top of this mat. I haven't yet washed it being January but I am assuming from the material that it will be easy. I have shaken it twice and do have to pull the leaves off sometimes - debris does stick easily to the top - but I'm okay with that. Better it stick to the mat than sneak into my house and stay on my floor. The design is attractive and it is a well-made mat. It isn't incredibly heavy so is light enough to shake but not too light that it will move or get kicked around the kitchen. I like it enough that I'm considering buying another for another high traffic door.

Rugs that absorb water!!!!!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I tried to find where to review so here I am. Before I ordered these I asked for opinions/reviews as I needed rugs on my lanai/pool area. The ones I got were not what I wanted to hear people thinking they wouldn't absorb water very good Well were they WRONG and good for me because I took a chance and ordered the 3x5 and the smaller one. OMG they are awesome ...so I ordered two more of the big ones. I hope this video comes thru to show you where the water is without a rug and then beside it. They are soft to walk on too but yet soooo sturdy . Not disappointed at all.

Very good mat
My only star off is for packaging. I've just bought three more of these mats for other doors as we like them so much but the first still hasn't completely unrolled despite having one side temporarily squashed under heavy chunk of marble. For people who don't want words or cute pictures at their doors and find that the sisal ends up tracked into the house too, this is a nice easy to clean solution that bears up for regular daily dirt. It can be shaken off or washed. For REAL mud you'll still need a bootscraper. The color goes nicely with multicolored slate.

Great Heavy Duty Rug!
Love Love this! we put this by our back garage door and it has not moved or rolled like our previous rug. Heavy duty and considering getting another one for our porch door. Only draw back, still smells like rubber but can only smell it when I am standing on it. Still love it.Update: we bought this less than 3 years ago and it’s falling apart. I still thought it did a great job but removed a star for durability. It’s not even outside so I can’t imagine why rubber pieces are coming off on the sides. It makes a mess! Getting something different this time.

Apache Mills 60-883-1403 color brown iron lattice entrance mat size 3x5
apache mills 60-883-1403 Purchased one month ago. This is my FOURTH mat to date. The first 3 were from Costco who stopped carrying them. This mat is a perfect weight and size for my front door. Catches alot of dirt coming inside my house. I live on a horse farm so there is LOTS of sand etc. on boots and shoes. You can't wear this mat out and it does not roll up at all or slide. Also this mat stays where you place it. My other mats are green but that was not available so I got brown which is a very neutral color and I like it almost as much as green. Also I have searched for this mat in the retail stores and could not find it. You can't go wrong with this item. Delivery was quick and price O.K.

Good quality mat...Very Pleased
This item fit perfectly in the space I had purchased it for - came in the exact measurements as advertised (and I was hoping that was the case, as I really didn't leave any "wiggle room"). It is a very good quality, heavy duty mat. Shortly after receiving it and positioning it at my back door, my dog vomited all over it. I am happy to report, that this mat is easy to hose down, and dries quickly in the sun!!The grooves in the pattern are quite deep - good for trapping mud, dirt, water, etc., especially with owning a pet... I found that it is easy to vaccuum, but a vaccuum doesn't always pull up everything in those deep grooves.Overall, I'm quite pleased. I feel that this mat will last me for years to come.
