PowerTrain Finger Tape - 1cm x 10m

I was looking for reasonably priced finger tape for BJJ use. I was worried about the lack of reviews on this product at first, but it stood out due to its low price (bought at $6.99 with Prime add-on shipping) and narrow width -- no need to cut or rip the tape for use on fingers. I sweat profusely in the gym (I'm so sorry if you've ever rolled with me) and was at first worried that the tape would gradually peel off over the course of my 90min training sessions. Not the case! I've even washed my hands with the tape still on and the adhesive endured even that. Besides that, the tape is easy enough to rip with just your fingers.I've owned the tape for almost 3 months now, and since I mostly only roll with it if I already have some finger pain/scrapes, I've got plenty left. If you're rolling with this tape literally every day, I'd expect it to last about a month.If you're looking for decent BJJ finger tape at a reasonable price, you've found it. The only suggestion I could make to improve this product is to have more color options than just black and higher quantity buying options. I'd buy a white version the moment it's available.

i read a bit about this tape on amazon reviews, as well as a BJJ subreddit. i'm 39 and i've been doing BJJ for almost 3 years now. arthritis runs in my family, and those of us in BJJ/MMA understand how rough grips get on the fingers. i've tried ALL kinds of tapes. too many to mention. off brands, super pricey, you name it. so i was skeptical in trying this... and i wore it tonight at class for the first time. through all kinds of drills, several of which involved grip work.. this stuff stayed put: as in, not only did it not come unraveling 10 minutes in, but it didn't slide up or down my fingers as class wore on and i was dripping in sweat. the best part? my fingers don't hurt. i have 3 of them that consistently bother me: left hand pinky, and middle and ring on the right hand--my dominant hand. i'm excited to start using this regularly. i've recommended it to my entire BJJ team, as well as other BJJ practitioners i know from other academies.

I bought this because I am constantly having my fingers dry out, crack, and bleed. Because of the lack of elasticity in them, you do have to be careful not to cut off circulation- but put a couple of lairs of this around your fingers and it will stay there, and remain tacky, for days. I was able to wash my hands with confidence. Sometimes the ends came slightly undone from washing, but they didn't lose the ability to stick.A little bit of this goes a long way. Using this as I did, which i realize might not be the most common purpose behind a purchase, I was able to unroll tape from one finger and easily transfer it to another within seconds- making it very easy for me to make one application stretch up to a week.If you're looking for tape that stays in place, this isn't KT tape, but it fits your fingers better and sticks almost as well.

I am a rock climber and figured I'd give this a try from my conventional big rolls of tape. Gotta say this is a very high quality tape that seems to last long during climbing sessions than the normal sports tape I buy and cut up. My girlfriend also had a figure injury and used this climbing and also noticed the quality difference. The size they cut it down to is great for all fingers. Only reason don't give it 5 stars is the price is a little crazy compared to buying a multi-pack of regular sports tape. Overall though if you don't mind the price and are tired of tape slipping of your fingers mid climb after only one or two climbs then I would recommend this.

I purchased this after I injured my index finger while rolling in a bjj class. I read reviews on different tapes and this one seemed like it had positive reviews and a good price point. It’s easy to wrap my finger with this (x pattern), and easy to tape. I’ve made it through class without it coming undone, and can roll without a problem. I originally purchase some tape from wal mart that sucked, so I got this. I am satisfied and the 2 rolls it comes with is enough to last for a while.

Works great! I was having issues with sore knuckles, esp when rolling in the gi. This saved my fingers from all the gripping. It sticks really well. There are some great videos on YouTube on how to properly tape your fingers for jits.

This tape is super sticky! I use this for rock climbing and for testing purposes I left these on for two days and they could have lasted for another week! Like another review said, you can wash your hands with these on and they will not even come close to coming off!

Packaging great, tape is good. Leaves a lot of glue residue on your fingers afterwards unlike some other tape I've used, but I like that it's black. You will have to cut strips for it, and I would get a little carrying case for it since they're tiny- I have one in my car's glove compartment though- and the glue survived the texas heat, so that's great.
