Dolce Gusto Refillable Capsules 200 Times Reusable Coffee Pods For Nescafe Dolce Gusto Brewers 3 Pack Brown

I have a Dulce Gusto machine that does pretty well. But I'm not a huge fan of all the waste of the pods. So, I decided to search for the brew at home pods. I used to have a Keurig which I used my own coffee all the time so why should this brewer be any different. I just got these in the mail and decided to try one out. They don't come with any instructions or recommend how fine to grind the coffee. Just 3 pods in a plastic bag. I experimented with a couple of different grind sizes. I also opened up a Dark Roast pod I had and weighed out the coffee inside. I matched the weight and set it to 12oz. The coffee comes out dark for about 2 seconds and then it's very light. Overall, a poor cup of coffee. To top it off, if the pod is not perfectly aligned, the pod gets ruined. It punctures a different hole in the capsule and then coffee leaks all over the place. And again, there is nothing to indicate how to align it. I eyeballed it on the spout. See the pic. So what was now 3 is down to two. Should have stayed with a Keurig.
