The handles on these pruners are so comfortable. It is difficult to get pruners that fit a woman's hand. I have long hands so I do wonder how women with small hands (that I am jealous of) find any pruners at all. These handles are made in such a way that I can prune with them longer than with any others I've ever had. I've been an obsessed gardener since I bought my retirement cottage 20 years ago. The property was dirt and rocks. There is a bay window in the kitchen that overlooks the front yard. I was at the grocery store and they had the yearly Spring plants that a lot of grocers order just once a year. I knew exactly nothing about plants and hadn't had time for gardening anyway with a family and full time job. I still had a job but my kids were grown and I noticed how pretty the many colors of Petunias were and how nice it would be to see them right there under that window. Also the Marigolds and Statice, the basic Annuals for color and beauty. I bought a few 6 packs of each and dug a hole right in the clay soil we have here in the Mountain Desert and stuck them in. They thrived!! I was hooked. Little did I know it would become a life long passion and love. Now my property is a Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat and I have hundreds of plantings. I have a lot of Herbaceous plants which require constant pruning. These are not for the stout branches on woody plants or trees, the heavier the branches the heavier the cutting instrument needs to be. The quality of the tool makes quite a difference in how many hours I can work in my Garden, so I keep 2 kinds for hand pruning and a good pair of Loppers of course. These are especially good for hard to reach stems on vines and Lavender type plants. I recommend these for anyone who does a lot of hand pruning.

To be honest, i bought this pruners because i thought it looked good. I didn't really even have a specific use for it, but I knew it would come in handy. I was half expecting something cheap, but when it showed up, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it look good, but it is solidly built and cuts very well. I hope it will maintain its sharp edge and quality cut. The lock feature was a little difficult to engage, but that may take a little time to break in.

Nice wood look handle, easy to cut with, and sharp (hope they stay that way). One suggestion would be to have a hole in the handle for a strap or string to hang by and put around your wrist.

Even though it is winter when these arrived I ran right outside to try them....sooo sharp and strong....even came with a second spring just in case.... ty Oara for a good product

I can use these to complete trim work without getting blisters or hand fatigue. They're great looking too!

These are gorgeous and sturdy pruners. I expect I will get tons of use out of these. So excited to really put them to work!
