Affordable shortcut for busy mom to get out of the messy bun
I recently discovered these hair straightening brushes existed and had to give it a try as my daughter and I both have wavy crazy hair. The only way to tame it is with a flat iron and it takes forever and I can never quite get the kinks right at the back of my head out, so there is always some bumps, it's very stubborn.Delivery: product came with in a day or 2 with mason prime free shipping, the packaging was nice.Product: the instructions weren't really anything more than a bunch of warnings. I wasn't exactly sure how to change the temperature up but figured it out through experimenting with it. The lowest setting of 320 was not enough to do much with my hair so I turned it all the way up to the highest setting and it began working much better, however the nice thing about this versus my chi flat iron is that my hair was never burning hot after lasso through it. There have been many times when I'm straightening my hair with a flat iron that my hair so hot it hurts to touch it. I wasn't sure what th glove was for in the box, maybe for that exact purpose so you don't burn your hand when touching your hair, but it was never that hot.I took before and after pictures of my hair. I had styled my hair wavy the day before, then had it up in a messy bun and when I took it out it was crazy and knarly. You can see the brush did a great job getting it straight and smoothed out..I was even a led to get ride of those stubborn bumps in the back that are hard to flat iron because they go right up to my scalp. I didn't feel like my arm got tired from styling my hair like it does when I flat iron.I also like the swivel on the cord the makes the cord and brush easy to manage.Cons:occasionally I would notice the heat was off. It is easy to press the button while brushing your hair and accidentally change the setting or turn it off. While this got my hair really straight and smooth, I would probably want to do a quick pass with my flat iron afterwards just because the ends of my hair didn't get quite as sleek as they do when using the flat iron, but it wasn't necessary either and it was nice knowing my hair wasn't burning so hot the whole time of being straightened like it was steaming hot when I flat iron it.Overall, I'm excited about this product and it is a lot cheaper than a flat iron. (Well a chi like I have at least) and it is nice for quickly fixing up and smoothing out some crazy hair like mine.normally if my hair is like it is in the before picture, I have to start fresh with wash, dry and then flatten...so it was nice to be able to skip that whole process! I hate blow drying and ironing my hair at the same time my hair feels so dry after.I did also spray a heat protectant in my hair before using and brushed out my hair with some Argan oil before using this product. I wouldn't use this to brush and straighten at the same time...brush out any tangles before with your regular brush.Overall I am impressed with this product and especially for the price. I'm a homeschool mom of three young ones and I never do my hair because it's so much work and most days I'm not waking up worried about making my hair presentable, but I would like to have my hair look better more often if it didn't require an hour in the bathroom on just my hair and this is great short cut to being able to take my hair out of the ponytail and not have to do the entire wash, dry, flat iron process from scratch.

Great for ALL hair types!!!
Awesome straightener! I am a black woman with thick short to medium length relaxed hair and after I washed and blow dried my hair I sprayed my hair with Silk Elements heat protecting spray and ran the straightening brush through it. It was so much faster than flat ironing and just as effective. I was even able to use the edge of the brush to straighten my "kitchen" hairs without scalding my neck! It was great!! I used it on my white step daughters hair and she has long, thick dark hair and she loved how silky and straight her hair was. This was most definitely a good purchase and I would recommend it for all hair types.

Great product. At first
Great product. At first, I couldn't get it right, but then I turned up the heat and it straightened my hair. I have curly, frizzy hair and I was able to achieve a straight look. Now this is not for pin straight hair, but will do the trick for me. I can imagine that it would work better for someone who has more managable locks. I literally did my hair in less than 15 minutes. I air dried my hair , then used the brush. I gave it 4 stars because of the placement of the powet switch, which can be easily turned off inadvertently when using. I also burned myself, but that was purely my fault. My picture shows one side of my hair done.

This straightner brush is life, easy and quick
This is definitely one of the best options on Amazon, and compared to Groupon and shopping mall. I've been seeing this pop up everywhere and with all that talk about whats good and real, I mean this was the real deal. I have super thick hair for an Asian and it's surprisingly NOT STRAIGHT when you need it to be. But I caved and decided to invest in this "magictec" hair straightener brush and I can't go back to using my goody hair brush! I mean, the quality of the brush itself is really sturdy and don't pull on my scalp (super A+ for that). White is a neutral color and it might look heavy, the it's fairly lightweight compared to a flat iron.It basically works like a flat iron with heating degree options and it gets warm really really quick. Since it's a brush, I was able to do huge sections of hair in a short amount of time. It's up to you, I only had to really go over it like twice each section and took a total of about 4 minutes and I was all set to go. I love how simple it is and double as just a regular brush so I'm not bringing my straighten and brush when I travel. It left my hair pretty shiny like that natural glow and with a puff of volume. It's the newest trend on the market and a fairly good investment. Not exactly a replacement for your flat iron especially if you have extremely thick or curly hair, but I think it's a good stepping stone if you want to use this first AND then use your flat iron for that perfect straightness!

Treat it as disposable. After one or two drops on the floor, replace it.
Miracle worker but fragile. After years of blow-outs, flat irons, etc... my wife swears by these straightening brushes. We've tried a few and this one is a good balance between ease of use and cost. After you drop it on the floor, and you will, it will likely fail either partially (e.g. won't heat up as much or won't change temperatures) or completely. Just know that going in, and replace it. Now that the brush is just $11, it's pretty much disposable. We get about 6-12 months out of each brush (weekly or twice a week use).
