A mixed blessing. Hard to get on and off, but nicely flexible and a good grip when on. I have felt a twinge of heat through them once or twice, but generally they do the insulating job quite well.

These are perfect for baking and so much easier to clean than cloth mittens. Bought it with the pinch mittens. Both are very well built. Love the color too.

I get tired of having to wash my cloth oven mitts, and they are pretty stained (even burnedon one...ask my boyfriend lol). They get hot pretty quickly and I don't feel safe with them,and wanted to get a pair of silicone oven mitts to replace them.
