For an egg dish he's displaying a lot of personality! Very happy with my purchase.

It's fun, but I recommend an English version instead unless you want the silicone. You lose all the meaning in the text. The game isn't quite as simple as others are stating in their reviews. Warning: the following part contains spoilers. First, the object isn't to take care of Gudetama. It's to kill them (Gudetama has no gender). Yes, you heard me. Not just kill them, but eat them. Only then may you unlock more egg dishes. Yep. This ain't your traditional Tamagotchi. I find it dark and amusing, it's perpetually lazy, depressed and having an existential crisis. You feed them soy sauce and tomatoes. You can play a guessing game (like P2). Their lifespan is about 6 human days before chopsticks come down from the sky and stick him in the microwave. I'm not making this up! It's hilarious.

The case is adorable and I love how tiny it is. Gudetama is a super cute character, but the gameplay is lacking. I know it’s kind of old, and a nano, but really. Everyone I know told me not to buy this because it’s the most boring Tama and I didn’t listen.He also takes forever to die. For a game where the point is to see all the different dishes he can be cooked into, he sure does take a long time to get cooked. In fact, my last one took over 72 hours of complete and total neglect to die.I would buy this if you want a basically stress free Tama that you can keep alive for a long time. I don’t know his maximum life expectancy with good care, but I assume it’s pretty good. And if he can handle himself for 2-3 days without dying then even someone with a super busy schedule could handle him no problem.

Would be cute for a Gudetama lover.

The directions, packaging and gameplay are all in Chinese or japanese. Can't use.

Didn't come with instructions in ENGLISH. That would have been super helpful.

I tend to have long days at work, lately I have not been productive as I should be. This little guy sits in the corner of my desk waiting to be fed and cared for. And each little accomplishment is well worth it.

孫のクリスマスプレゼントに間に合いました。

いつも呼びかけてきて、世話してあげることになります。楽しめます。

本体は500円玉くらいの大きさでとてもコンパクト。ぐでたまカバーに入れても、大きさは普通のキーホルダーと大差ないので、持ち運びラクラクです。お世話のバリエーションは最低限の「ごはん・あそび」のみ。呼び出し頻度もそんなに高くないので、まめに世話をするのが難しいという方にはちょうど良いくらい。ただ、たくさん関わって遊びたい！という方には物足りなさしかない。ぐでたまの「ほっといてほしい」という思いを尊重できる方向けかなと。

画面のカラー化、説明書のフォントサイズの拡大化が望ましい。
